Love to read, listen to music and travel. A student at the University of Iceland studying Literature.
I find this part of Reykjavik to be the most beautiful and I love to be in the city centre but still in a peaceful area.
Anna and her cute flat were delightful. We arrived late and thought we had the correct address, but we did not. We called Anna and she came out to meet us on the street. Her place is really cute, convenient, and very comfortable. It is so close to the famous church, you can get there in about two minutes, as well as to the two main shopping streets. It is one room with a great kitchen corner. Anna had yogurt, cereal, fruit, coffee, and tea for us. My husband loved her shower!
Anna helped us figure out the bus schedules to the airport, which was very helpful. Delightful place and fascinating city!
Our stay in the studio apt was wonderful! It is right in the heart of the city, walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Reykjavik. The bus stop is just a few steps away so very convenient for our excursions and airport transfers. Our host was so accommodating; we thoroughly enjoyed the fruit/yogurt provided for our first breakfast. We could not have asked for a better location or accommodations! We would highly recommend this rental for anyone wanting to explore Reykjavik. We hope to come to Iceland again and would definitely love to stay at the studio again!
Our stay in this studio was just what we needed, clean, cozy and warm, with all the things we needed, close to bus station, downtown Reykjavik and pick up location for tours, Anna was more then helpful and very prompt in answering any questions, enjoyed our stay very much
This little spot is warm and cozy and will stay in my heart for years to come! I highly recommend the apartment - has everything you'll need for a short stay in such a beautiful country! Anna, you're a dear and thank you for your literary recommendations - your brother is next on my list. With gratitude, Stephanie.
We enjoyed our two-day stay in Anna's cozy studio apartment. We walked everywhere, and the street was relatively quiet (even on a Saturday night!). I say "relatively" because in Winter you could hear people's footsteps as they walked through the ice/snow and the sidewalk is very close to the windows. But it didn't bother us in the least.
We were delighted to find the kitchen stocked with a lovely assortment of teas and coffees as well as granola, milk and yogurt.
We visited in Winter and the apartment was nice and warm. The bed was comfortable, and the location fantastic (we also had no trouble finding parking on the street for our rental car).
We would happily stay here again, if we ever return to Reykjavik!
We enjoyed staying in Anna's studio apartment. She has it well appointed with what is needed (coffee, tea, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc). It worked well for our 3 day stay in Reykjavik because of its fantastic location. We could walk everywhere in the old part of town with easy access to a grocery store, restaurants, and things to do. Anna was most helpful!
This cozy little studio is located in the old part of Reykjavik, surrounded with artists. Even though we are in the city centre it's a very quiet neighbourhood. All the main attraction are within easy walking distance, such as shops, restaurants, bars, art galleries, well just everything the city has to offer.
A swimming pool is close by where you can enjoy swimming or have a nice relaxing dip in the famous geothermal hot pots and on a hot summer day, yes we have few of them :) you can go to the beach.
Hallgrimskirkja (church) with its high tower is at our doorstep, so to say and there you get a great view over the city. The National Gallery of Iceland within walking distance, theater and cinema houses.
