This quaint cottage is nestled in Lands End Community on Battery Creek, a tidal river that runs between Hilton Head, Paris Island and St Helena Island. You can sit on the enclosed front porch and watch time slip away. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning as you start your day as well as the beautiful sunsets in the evenings. You can see anything from sail boats, shrimp boat to large Coast Guard Cutter heading out to sea.

The home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 kings with attached full bathrooms and in each king room a 50inch flat screen smart tv. The third bedroom has a daybed with trundle. This can be used as a good place to sneak away and read a book or some quiet time. Enjoy crabbing, fishing, skiing, kayaking, jet skiing, sailing or walking to Civil War Fort Fremont. You can also take a stroll down this majestic live oak lined road and take in the views. This cottage offers old world charm and new world trappings. The interior has been fully renovated and updated. We also have a ping pong table for your enjoyment. There is an open fire pit in the front yard that is great for roasting marshmallows. Hunting Island State Park is about 17 miles away and we have a pass for you to use during your stay.

About Annette All

This home was purchased by our parents in 1957 and it has seen a lot of changes. The cottage now belongs to Mac and his sister Barbara. We have so many fond memories of growing up here along with our brother. We fished, crabbed, and skied from sun up to sun down. It is very special to us and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

My experience at the Millions Dollar View was poor. When, I enter the house it smelled like sewer.

The sewerage was backed up when my guest and me tried tried taking a shower, when I called for house keeping and maintenance there was no answer but I was being charge for both. The

owner didn't return phone call promptly if there was an issue. I had a serious issue about the sewage backing up. I call maintenance at least three times and there was no answer and when I contacted the owner they stated that he doesn't work for them anymore. I am a single mom who had planned a trip to see my only child graduate from the marine corps. I didn't plan on calling the owner every beckoning moment for house issues. The military has a strict schedule and I was visiting from out of town and I had not seen my son in three months and I only had four hours to spend with him and facing the challenges of driving in a new city. The owner told me that he knew what was going on about the sewage backing up because the person who built their home placed smaller pikes down in instead of the size needed. However, in the meantime I had a total of 5 guests all taking shower, brushing teeth, and using the toilet and water from the sewerage was backing up everywhere. So, my owner knew that there was a subtetank issue when the house was displayed on home away website. So, there was a breach in my contract because the house was not healthy to live in it. So, I feel as if the owner owe me have of my charges for my inconvenience and breach of contract. I am requesting half of the amount I paid. By the way, the air conditioner was on a time frame it shut approximately at 9:00 pm and we had to turn on fans to cool off.

Owner's Response: Ms. Jordan checked in 30 minutes after housekeeping left so the house was clean when she arrived. We also had guest check out the same morning at 11AM. They were there for 5 days and there was no problem with the plumbing and no problem when housekeeping was there cleaning. Ms. Jordan checked in on Wednesday and did not notify me until Friday morning that there was a problem. We called our plumbers and they sent a man out who opened the lines and flushed the toilets and told us that should hold us until we could get someone out there to pump the septic tank. We were not able to get anyone out on Friday. Ms. Jordan checked out Saturday on her scheduled check out. She called with her complaints about an hour after check out. We did not hear from her after the plumber left. She called and wanted her money back. I told her that house keeping comes when they check out it was in the information that she was given. She stated that she did not have time to read all that as she had too much going on. I told her that she could have called HomeAway and they would have moved her if it was so bad there and she said she did not know that. I offered to give her a refund for one night and she said that was not good enough. I called HomeAway and told them the situation and they told me that I did not need to give anything back since they stayed the whole time. I called her back and told her this but still offered her the $200. She said not good enough.My house keeper sent me a photo of our fish cleaning station in the back yard stating that it was not like that the last time she was there. It appears that the sink was ripped out and also the supporting boards around the sink. I checked with the plumber and he said that it was fine when he was there on Friday morning. I wonder how that happened? I am sorry that Ms Jordan did not have the time to read her information so she would know that she was not staying in a motel and would not have daily maid service.If you read the reviews from our other guest, you will see when a problem comes we do our best to take care of our guest.

Lovely Cottage
