3 Bedroom 1.5 bath private home just south of downtown Moab. Originally a Trading Post on the way into Moab, The Trading Post Guest House has been remodeled to provide modern convenience, while still incorporating many of the original features that make it fun and unique. While there is a natural gas forced air furnace to keep you warm, you can still use the old fashioned wood burning stove. The kitchen has all new appliances, but still maintains much of the original wood architecture. The bright color palette warmly welcomes you into each part of the home, and there is new or upgraded flooring in all rooms. There is plenty of room for up to 8 with 2 Queens in the Master Bedroom, 1 Queen in the 2nd Bedroom, and 2 Twins in the 3rd Bedroom. And you can host large gatherings in the spacious Great Room with it's 8 person dining table. You'll have access to one garage bay, and there is ample parking for your trailers and toys on the property. The Trading Post Guest House's unique location gives you access to a restaurant next door; a very unique feature for a vacation rental. You'll be just steps away from Moab's new Thai and Sushi restaurant. If you are looking for a unique experience for your next vacation, look no further than the Trading Post Guest House.

Moab Bicycle Trip

Great place with lot's of common space. Big garage for our bicycles. Super clean with comfy beds. Easy access to town. Has great BBQ Satelite TV and Wifi.. Place could be better if it had dishwasher ( then I would have given 5 Star ... daily hadwashing of dishes not fun ) but has washer and dryer.

Love This Place

I was reluctant to rent a property with few reviews but I am glad I did in this case. Here's what I liked:

- Convenient location

- Tastefully eclectic interior design. I loved the blue tile work from the fireplace and across the floor, resembling a river from the mountains. A great display of Southwest decor throughout.

- The property was clean

- The garage was long enough to park my Yukon without issues (in fact, it could have held two cars lengthwise.) The width left little room for error and required care when opening any door, but that's a small price to pay for being able to park a car inside when traveling and in the summer.

- Lots of spacious common areas for relaxing or even holding small events.

The only item I didn't appreciate was that it was hard to sufficiently cool one of the guest rooms and the cooling was just adequate for the others.

Overall, a our stay was a treat that I wouldn't hesitate to book outside of the warmest parts of the year.

Historic, wonderful stay in Moab

This was such a great place to stay. The house has beautiful details throughout. It has been fully updated but all the historical touches remain. There is lots of communal gathering places and separated TV area. It is very roomy with a fenced yard. Nice outdoor seating with a great red rock view.

The only negatives are that it is close to the road, of course it is a trading post after all. The light from the Thai restaurant next door shines in the back yard and makes it difficult to stargaze.

I hesitate to post this review because I want to stay here many times in the future and I know that it will always be full.
