Very well maintained and convenient to local attractions

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay - especially the hot tub and fireplace. The fire pit is very nice as well. The only odd issue to us was only being able to leave one bag of garbage in the can. We understand the concern about bears but we had to drive three hours home with a bag of trash. You might want to consider getting a bigger can to hold more trash or provide the location of a place to take it that is close by the cabin.

Owner's Response: Hi Jeff, we are so glad that you enjoyed the cabin and your visit to the Great Smoky Mountains. Yes, we too love spending time around the fire pit and in the hot tub. I'm sorry that you had to haul your trash back home as there is a dump site just one mile from the cabin as referred to in the guest book along with a map. We struggle with the trash issue as there are no trash services pick up in the mountains so we need to rely on our guest to assist with disposing. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to hosting your next visit.

Nice place enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located between some of the major attractions in TN and NC. A few more rules than most places. Stripping beds, trash bag limit, etc is a bit unnecessary. We just want to enjoy our vacation and not have to think about the laundry list of rules that may lead to additional charges.

Immaculate home in a gorgeous setting.

  • 5 of 5

Home was just as described. It was very clean, well furnished and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room on the property gave it a private feel, whether on the porch, in the hot tub or at the fire pit. I would definitely recommend.
