The house is really lovely. The views are gorgeous and sitting on the porch or the living room grants beautiful mountain views. The house is comfortable and well -equipped. It was the perfect place for our multi-generational visit and provided easy access to several area colleges and Burlington. Adding a fire pit in the back yard and an outdoor table for outside eating would be great for future summer guests. We enjoyed our visit and would come again!
Everything is Great, I would give a 5 star except one thing, there's no TV,
house owner please get a cable TV and this house will be Perfect.
This farmhouse was in a pastoral setting. We stayed Christmas week. You are about 30 minutes from Killington. The home itself is older with a more modern family room addition. The 4 bedrooms and attic space held our family of 16 well (little kids got the attic space with mattresses on the floor). The 3 bathrooms (2 with a shower) worked out well. The home is well equipped with linens, towels, and plenty of kitchen utensils/pots and pans/etc. We cooked in every meal. There is no TV in this home. So, if that is important to you for your stay, you will need to use computers, etc. Aside from Killington, there are a few cute towns to walk through, but not a ton of activities other than hiking, skiing (in the winter). We did a 2.5 mile loop hike staring at the home everyday that brings you around a creek and past a covered bridge. Snowmobiled in Killington. Overall, I would recommend this home and go back.
A beautifully maintained historic house in an absolutely gorgeous pastoral setting! It was even nicer than expected and the perfect place to entertain or relax. We had 10 adults staying here and it didn't feel cramped at all. We will definitely be back in the future!
The house is beautifully maintained. It is set on a beautiful tract of land and has beautiful views from the living room. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped. The house is 30 minutes from Killington and close to Rutland and Middlebury, good location at reasonable cost.
This house is beautiful! The living room with oversized windows was a cozy spot - it was where we spent most of our time. The kitchen was huge, which was perfect for our group of 9 to make big meals! Great location. It was easy to get to Killington for snowshoeing and to see the nightlife.
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this house and next time we visit Vermont we will definitely stay here again!
Only thing that was weird was we had to contact the property through 'Evolve'.
