This second floor end unit comes fully equipped with a king size bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the 2nd bedroom and a sofa sleeper. Two twins can be converted to a KING bed upon request at the time of booking (housekeeping fee applies). Ceiling fans are located in both bedrooms & living area to circulate the cool ocean breezes. Condo kitchen is fully equipped for "home" meals and living room comes complete with flat screen TV. Patio located off of the kitchen is great for morning coffee or tea. Coin operated washer/dryer located on property. Centrally located on Kauai’s eastern shore make this the perfect Kauai vacation rental. No elevator, AC or pool.

Easy walking distance to shops, beach and restaurants makes this Kauai condo a truly convenient place for your Kauai vacation rental. Overall - Excellent! Some of the furnishings were slightly different from the pictures, e.g. 2nd bedroom showed 2 twins pushed together as a king, and couch and some drapes were different. But overall, we couldn't be more pleased. Very clean, very nicely upgraded from other units. 1/2 bath off master plus full hall bath were perfect for us and our daughter. Centrally located for touring the entire island. AC would have been nice, but we knew that beforehand. Ceiling fans and room fans helped. We would definitely stay here again. Quiet complex - downstairs neighbors (long-term leasers) were really nice - made us feel welcome. Booking was easy - Sue and Kanani were friendly and professional.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The property description was not as I saw on the photos. The property was clean but the beds and furniture were very uncomfortable especially since there were 4 adults in the space. The kitchen was well equipped with good cookware. It was very noisy as you had to keep windows open due to no a/c. The bath towels were very thin. I had problems with the cable and the weekend the number to call only referred me to the cable company. The cable rep did walk me through how to resolve the issue but it happened every time so was frustrating. The location to the grocery is good but that is doable from many locations. We spent little time at the condo as there are many activities to do and good restaurants all around. We did have parking space so that was nice. Just not at all what I was expecting/hoping for so part of this is on me. It was serviceable at best. I didn't like the $88 fee charged by the VRBO site which was not noted initially when I made the reservation only saw it on my bill later. Kauai is beautiful no matter where you stay. I hope I gave a few positives among the things to be aware of when booking.

Village Manor D22 is a small and quite apartment complex. D22 was very clean and newly remodeled. The couch and chairs are really in need of an upgrade because they are very worn and uncomfortable. The pictures make the rooms look larger than they really are. Kind of deceiving. The white and blue bedding and flower curtains shown are NOT in this unit. The second bdrm has twin beds which are not shown in pictures that I saw and are very hard and uncomfortable. There is NO A/C available. The weather was nice and breezy for most of our stay but the last 2 days were very humid and the 2 small fans that were provided didn't help very much. I feel that they should at least put in a window A/C and provide a good osculating fan for each room for the days that are very humid. Other than that the stay was in a good location and close to stores, a couple of shopping centers and a really nice small water way area to wade in near by. If you're looking for a simple place to sleep without the bells and whistles, this could be the place.

This place was simply perfect. We arrived to find the unit clean and just as pictured. The kitchen has everything you need and was ready for us to cook a meal. We found beach chairs and beach towels in the closet and masks snorkels under the kitchen sink. There is beach access minutes (like 3)away and it was never crowded. Foodland is a short walk, about a block, away and they are reasonably priced if you get a shoppers card. The laundry room was a short walk from the unit and was clean and functional. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. You are a short drive to Kapaa and it is centrally located to everything on the island. It would be nice if there was an area with a grill, that was the one thing we missed was grilling a Kauai beef steak. We have been coming to Kauai for many years but this is our first stay at this location. We WILL be back to Village Manor D22

Ants and maggots generally come from food left out and when trash is not taken out regularly in the tropics.
