This is a custom-built home located less than a 5 minute walk from the beaches of the Emerald Coast. The home is in Seagrove Beach, the heart of the Scenic Hwy. 30A experience. The property has a main house with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths along with a guesthouse having 1 bedroom with its own bath and a second fully equipped kitchen, all included in your rental. 3 of the 5 bedrooms have en-suite baths. The home has one King bedroom, two Queen bedrooms, a twin daybed with trundle bedroom and a bedroom with 2 twin beds. A daybed/with Trundle is in a bedroom adjoining the 2nd-floor MBR and was designed for children whose parents want to keep them close at night but does have a door between the 2 areas.
You will be staying 1/2 mile from the famous luxury communities of Seaside and Watercolor while enjoying their many activities, delicious food, and shopping. We completed construction on the home in 2005 and enjoyed living in paradise for 10+ years. We have moved on to the next adventure in our lives, but we have left the home with all the amenities you will need to enjoy your family vacation on our beautiful beaches.
You can walk or bike ride to Seaside for morning coffee or brunch. Be sure to bike the many beautiful trails that surround our home. Our own deeded beach access awaits you at the entrance to our neighborhood. Many restaurants; including 723 Whiskey Bravo, Cowgirl Kitchen, Seagrove Market, Pizza by the Sea, Cafe 30A, and The V are just a short walk away. The home is closer to the beach than many homes in Seaside and closer than most homes in Watercolor. The home is surrounded by vacant property on 3 sides and is in a neighborhood that is full of mostly year-round residents.
It is a quiet peaceful setting where you can hear all the sounds of nature. Enjoy a meal on the large screened side porch or relax with a glass of wine on the back patio next to the fire pit. Come home from a warm sandy day at the beach and rinse away the day in the outdoor shower. Then take a dip in the heated pool or spa before cooking steak or seafood on the outdoor grill while enjoying a drink at the outdoor bar. You will never want to leave!!
The home is managed by the owners. By dealing directly with the owner, you will be assured that your vacation arrangements will be handled by someone who cares about your satisfaction rather than by a disinterested third party in a foreign country.
There is a cleaning fee of $350 per rental, a refundable security deposit of $500, and a bed tax fee equal to 11.5% of the weekly rental rate. The pool and spa can be heated UPON REQUEST to 88 degrees for a fee of $325 per week. One-half the entire fee must be paid upon booking, and the other half paid no less than 30 days prior to your arrival date.
The driveway will accommodate all your vehicles. With this adequate parking, you will not need to park in the yard or on the street, as is the case with many local rentals.
We began vacationing on the Emerald Coast as children. We have seen the area grow from a quiet sleepy little beach community to become one of the most popular beaches in the world. The Blue Grouper is located in Sugarwood Beach, a neighborhood of mostly year-round residents. It is a quiet area on a cul-de-sac with little traffic. At night, you can see every star in the sky. There are no homes on 3 sides of the property which gives you even more privacy. The rear yard is surrounded by a 6ft. fence, giving you privacy while in the pool, spa, or while enjoying the back patio with bar, dining, cooking, and fire pit areas. We have added every convenience to our property to make it easy to have a great time while enjoying our world-class beaches.
You can bike the many paths in our local communities and state parks. The rainwater from our lawn runs into Western Lake where you can enjoy boating or Yolo Boarding. We are within minutes of Seaside, Watercolor, Rosemary Beach, Grayton Beach, and many other wonderful 30A communities that have endless entertainment and dining choices. The 723 Whiskey Bravo restaurant with its wonderful rooftop bar sits just outside our neighborhood within sight of the Gulf and Seaside. You can walk or bike there within a few minutes.
One week here, and you will never want to leave. When you arrive back at home, you will immediately begin planning your next trip to our piece of paradise. ENJOY!!!

This is our 3rd year coming to Seaside for our spring break and this is by far the best house we ever stayed in! It felt like our "Home away from Home" by the end of the week I didn't want to leave! The beds were so comfortable along with the couches in the family room area. The kitchen was fully stocked for all your needs in order to cook dinners and BBQ. The decor throughout the home was so up to date and felt like "home". The house was very clean and had everything that you would need to live for the week. We loved the detached bungalow, my teenage boy stayed in here and it was perfectly set up for him to feel like he was on vacation of his own.
The pool/hot tub area was the highlight of our trip. The week we were there was cold so the heated pool and hot tub felt wonderful. We sat around the fire pit every night and enjoyed the outdoors of Florida. The location was in the perfect spot, walking distance to the beach and Seaside shops. I would highly recommend this home to anybody that is looking for the perfect home you want to feel like your “Home away from Home!”
Many trips to Seagrove/Seaside and stayed in multiple properties, however this one is the best by far. Very comfortable for families with children or just quiet get away. Secluded away from the traffic of 30A but only 2-3 minute walk to beach. House very comfortable and can sleep our family of 6 adults and 5 kids. Property very clean with great screened in porch for early morning coffee. Outdoor space is spacious with patio, pool, seating area, fire pit and of course the hot tub. House large enough that all can spread out and not be on top of each other. House on dead end street that allows kids to ride bikes safely and very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend for we will be back.
This is absolutely the perfect accommodation for your next vacation. This house is just a brief walk to the beach and affords maximum privacy when desired. The onsite amenities are incredible; heated pool and hot tub with outdoor grill and bar with large seating area. Separate guest house is great for kids or teenagers or for additional members of your party. Seaside is just a short distance as well as plenty of shops, restaurants, and grocery. Lots of things to do with a short bike ride, which is awesome considering the miles of bike trails. The neighborhood gives the feel of "I could get used to this" as it does not feel cramped or like you are sharing with everyone else like the commercial areas do - really the best of both worlds. The house is well laid out for all to have privacy and their own baths without feeling like you are intruding on others. If you are looking for a relaxing stay on the best beach sand in the world, you cannot go wrong with this one!
Our family enjoyed staying here. The house was incredible and walking distance from the beach, shopping, restaurants. Lots of room for everyone to spread out if they wanted to. Beautifully decorated. Great location for riding bikes and going on adventures. Nice screened-in porch, incredible outdoor pool, fire pit, huge yard, nice front porch to sit and enjoy your coffee. We will for sure be back!!
What a great location. This home was perfect for our family. We were very close to the beach, bars/restaurants, grocery and shops. We loved riding bikes around seaside and watercolor. The house was well decorated and the pool and back yard are a perfect private area for entertaining. The owners were extremely helpful with all our needs. We will be back.
This VRBO is by far the best I've ever stayed at!!:) The pictures don't even do justice to just how precious this home actually is. It's a 2 story house with an entire separate guest house in the backyard. The guest house is fully equipped with its own kitchen, bathroom, king size bed, sitting area, tv....pretty much everything you need. The main house has an open kitchen, dining room, and living room. Huge dining room table, great for playing games! There's a screened-in porch with a large picnic style table and furniture to enjoy the weather under the shade. All of the bedrooms were spacious (2 on the main floor & 2 upstairs). In a lot of homes, the upstairs never gets quite as cool as the downstairs, but this home had an excellent cooling system because it felt just as good upstairs as it did downstairs. The house was very well kept and decorated adorably! The backyard is awesome!! The pool is wonderful and gets lots of sunshine from dawn till about 3 or 4pm...then the sun starts moving toward the front of the house, which is nice because it gives those those who don't really want the sun shinning on them while in the pool, the opportunity to still get in it during the daylight hours. Someone maintenanced the pool during our stay, but we never saw them so they must of come in the early morning. It's nice having a well maintenanced pool each day to walk out to. We turned on the outdoor patio string lights at night that draped over the large sitting area in the backyard. Lots of seating out back, a propane fire pit, grill, bug zapper, umbrella for shade, plenty of rafts, & quite private because there is a privacy fence that surrounds the backyard. There are also lots of trees surrounding the back & side of the property which make it more private from neighbors. It was a really nice & quiet neighborhood. To get to the beach, it's literally only a 2 minute walk from the front door of the house. We walked to the beach and on the beach everyday. Gorgeous sunsets. If for someone reason you wanted to drive, there are public areas to park near beach access. There are dedicated bike paths that go up & down 30A, so it's safe to ride bikes and you'll see once you're there, that there are lots of places to rent bikes from. There are also lots of nature trails that you can go on that are walking or biking distance from this property. Just a short walk or bike ride to restaurants & shopping! Loved loved this house & location!! Definitely will be coming back!!:)

The home is managed by the owners, and the owner processes ALL rental payments. By dealing directly with the owners, you will be assured that your vacation arrangements will be handled by someone who cares about your satisfaction rather than by a disinterested third party in a foreign country. We rent Saturday to Saturday. Check-in time is 3pm, and check-out time is 10am. We do not rent our property to anyone under the age of 25. During Spring Break months of March, April and May each year, there must be a responsible adult who is at least 25 years of age present at the property throughout the rental period. A copy of that adult's drivers license and credit card information must be provided along with the signed rental agreement.

The magnet of Scenic Hwy. 30A is Seaside, Florida. That community is 1/2 mile from The Blue Grouper. You can walk or bike there to avoid parking issues, which are many due to the crowds drawn to this beautiful gem on the Gulf.
