Trout Hollow is a fantastic location to start your Northern Michigan vacation. Located south of Traverse City on the South Boardman River, this is a outdoor enthusiasts playground. Situated on an acre and on the bend of the river, here you can listen to the babble of the river, hop in a kayak (2 are provided) and meander down miles and miles of pristine waters. If fly-fishing is something you like, there are many spots on the river that allow for this great sport. Nature wraps around you everywhere you go. You may never want to leave! After a hard day's work having so much fun outdoors, relax in the hot tub that overlooks the river. Ahhhh!
This is a historic log home with a long history. Built 100 years ago, it is fun to think back how things were so long ago. Cabin has recently been updated with new floors and furnishings so you will find it very welcoming and comfortable. 2 bedrooms and 1 bath are featured. There is a king and a queen bed.. There is a sofa bed in the living room. Large flat panel TV, satellite and WiFi round out your No central heat, but there is a gas fireplace, wood fireplace, and space heaters to keep you warm.
Your well mannered pet is welcome here, as it is a safe and private location for kids and pets. Gather around the fire pit and enjoy the dazzling night skies. Star gazing is simply amazing here. There is a gas grill for BBQ fans. Located 10 minutes outside of Traverse City's shopping area. Interlochen is an easy 20 minute drive west. There are plenty of things to do in this great area. Will consider weekly or short stays during any season. Summer 3 night minimum. Short stays are permitted during prime summer dates, however, deposits will not be charged for reservations totaling less than 7 nights that are booked online until the reservation is confirmed by Visit Up North the next business day. Arrival and/or departure date must back up to existing reservations and/or begin/end on a Saturday or Sunday.3 night minimum Memorial and Labor Day weekends.
