About Robin

I have lived all over Santa Cruz County since the mid 70s and there is no better place to be than on the Westside! I have worked in the local medical community and enjoy the healthy outdoor activities that our lovely town has to offer. My son, who was raised here, loves to come home and go surfing, spend some time refueling at the El Palomar Taco Bar, and take in a movie or enjoy local music or live theater. There is no end to the combination of perfect days you can create with all Santa Cruz has to offer you!

You don't have to venture far from the neighborhood to sample a wide variety of what Santa Cruz has to offer. Plus, the Westside get the best weather in town right here!

What makes this apartment unique

Bike to the Westside Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. Go for a walk along West Cliff Drive, maybe walk or bike to the wharf for breakfast or lunch, or to Kelly's Bakery! Watch the surfers at 'The Lane' near the Lighthouse on the way home. Go to the beach! (it is a 5 minute walk from here!). See an exhibit at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center! Go check out the Arboretum at UCSC! Ride your bike to Wilder Ranch! Take in the world renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium only 45 min drive from here! Do some winetasting while shopping for fresh local produce. Retreat to your quiet, private spot for some much needed rest. Enjoy reading while sipping locally crafted wine in the private patio and either have dinner in (BBQ on patio or tasty local take-out) or enjoy any one of almost too many restaurants to list in town just minutes from here. Live theater year round in theaters around the town. Live music all the time! So many movie theaters and bookstores. And sometimes it is just perfect to relax and do what we never let ourselves do...NOTHING!

Close to everything and entirely accommodating.

Our family came here on our spring break to enjoy sunshine and the outdoors. It was the perfect place because of its proximity to the ocean, Wilder Ranch, Natural Bridges State Beach, UCSC arboretum, and Seymour Marine Discovery Center. We even spent a day at the Monterrey Aquarium. The accommodations were also amazing. Clean, comfortable and filled with everything we needed. A home away from home for our small family of 3.

My experience was so perfect that I've already booked for 3 more months beginning November, 2017! The location is extremely convenient; easy walk to West Cliff and short drive to downtown. With Robin's assistance I quickly found near by grocery stores, work out facilities and fun restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and has a very safe feeling. The apartment is very well maintained and is very well supplied. Robin is amazing in her responsiveness. I'm sure you will have the same wonderful experience as I did during my recent 3 month stay.

West Cliff Hideaway made it easy to vist Santa Cruz area

Close to the beautiful cliff top to walk and watch the sunsets in the evening and to hear seals barking in the morning, this was a great location for us to stay in Santa Cruz. It is in a quaint neighborhood full of amazing flowering shrubs and fruit trees. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed,; the bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. Robbin has a great selection of DVDs for the evenings when we just needed to kick back. Robbin was a delightful host..she goes to a lot of trouble to answer any questions about how everything works, and brought us extra pillows to help me with an injured arm. Her recommendations of restaurants that were close-by were excellent. We recommend this hideaway to everyone.

It was clean and perfect for 3-4 people. Great location!

We arrived to do a triathlon this weekend. It was a perfect location for us. They provided us with everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. It was a little tough to find it right away from the street because it is behind the main house, but no biggie. We had everything that we needed to feel comfortable and had a great time.

Still thinking about our relaxing getaway!

First I'd like to say that Robin is a wonderful host! We came in town late in the day, tired from a long day of driving and exploring San Fransisco. Right away Robin greeted us and had the futon bed all set for my teenage son to sleep on. We felt so at home in the charming space! The location is by far the best in the area! Excellent, quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. In the week we spent there, I met several locals on my morning walk along west cliff drive which was only a couple short blocks away.

I can't wait to come back! Thanks again Robin!
