This little gem sits on 3 acres downtown Glen Arbor. It is in the midst of everything yet, quite private. It’s all about location. Go for a stroll out of the front door, and you will find the best shopping you can imagine, including Cherry Republic and the Wildflowers shop.
Several restaurants are within walking distance (3 to 5 blocks), including the ever-popular Arts Bar, Blu (watch the sun set over Lake Michigan as you eat chef Randy's gourmet fare) and Boon Docks for family fun on the deck and live music nightly.
The kids can swim in Lake Michigan, about 3 blocks away. You can launch your boat here in town, and there is room to park it in your driveway. The beautiful Big Glen and Little Glen lakes are just down the road. If that’s not enough, there is also a park a few steps down the road with playground equipment, tennis courts and a basketball court. There are public beaches a short drive away in any direction, the Heritage Walking/Biking Trail a few blocks away and as many dunes as you could ever want to climb.
The house features a newly remodeled kitchen, hardwood floors throughout, a fireplace, three bedrooms, the bath includes a jacuzzi tub. There is a delightful porch across the front, overlooking the yard and gardens. You will find tables, a firepit, a new grill, and more seating in the picnic area near the porch.
Full kitchen with microwave, coffeemaker and toaster. There is a first class grocery/deli a couple of blocks away.
Wi-fi available. Linens and towels are provided. Children are welcome. No smoking.

Kit and I love to travel. Around home gardening is my passion. Kit and I have been together over 12 years now. We spend some of our time at my home and some at his, a few miles away. Since I have a place to live when not at home, it made sense to share my home and be able to make more of our travel dreams a reality. I own a home decor, boutique, garden shop here in town.

This is a fun place to be. Glen Arbor is very safe. There are so many activities within walking distance. Lake Michigan, the park, mini golf or world class golf, pickleball, kayaking, hiking and biking on miles of paved trails meandering thru our beautiful countryside. It is obvious every direction you go why we are known as one of the most beautiful places in America. The best boutiques, art galleries, restaurants all right here for you to discover
There is world class entertainment at Interlochen School for the Arts close by. Wineries with award winning wines to taste, located in beautiful settings, over 20 of them. Delightful villages through out the county, each with it's own flavor. Old fishtown in Leland, the lighthouse in Northport, shopping in Suttons Bay and of course, Traverse City is also close.
My wife and I along with our two teenage girls stayed for a week. The house is located about a block outside of Glen Arbor so it allows for easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants, beach, and grocery store along with picking up the Sleeping Bear Bike Trail about a block & 1/2 away. It's so close to everything that you could park your car and not need to drive it for a week if you were so inclined. House is maintained very nicely with all of the amenties you would ask for. Owner is very accomodating on giving suggestions and ideas for you to do within the area.
We hope to rent the house again next year and highly recommend it.
