On a quiet one-way lane is a home that will take your breath away with its astonishing attention to detail, creative use of space and incredibly high level of craftsmanship. This home was conceived and built by Michael Miller, a local architect who has gained fame for his brilliant tropical home designs.

**This home is available for lease by the month, in accordance with local ordinances strictly enforced by the City of Key West. The minimum lease is for 27 nights in February and for 29 nights during any other period.


This wonderful home is located in the Beachside section of Key West, a quiet neighborhood less than a half mile from Higgs Beach, where you can lay on the beach, dine at Salute, or bring your dog to the Dog Park. Best of all, you’ll also be just few blocks from Old Town and all of its many attractions.


The front foyer is open and airy. The open plan has been perfectly executed to maximize your enjoyment of this stunning home. If you watch TV, you'll be glad to know that there is a 50-inch flat screen TV (one of three in the house). The dining table seats six, and three more can be seated at the kitchen bar.


A master chef would be happy to work in this kitchen, with its top-of-the-line appliances, from its granite counter tops and custom wood cabinets to the Sub-Zero refrigerator, gas range and 200-bottle wine cooler.


As you enter the back courtyard, the burbling waterfall is a soothing backdrop to this little piece of heaven. You can walk down the stairs into the pool for a relaxing cool-off, and you can readily find sun or shade to your preference, with plenty of room for everyone.


Upstairs, you can go outside and climb the spiral stairs to a widow's walk; a great place to sit under the stars with good friends. Or you open the door to a media room with 50 inch TV that is completely separate from the bedrooms.


The first master suite is on the first floor, with a King bed, flat screen TV, overhead fan and French doors to a private deck. The private bathroom has a custom shower and a French door directly to the pool area. The second bedroom is in the sumptuous guest cottage, with a Queen bed, flat screen TV, vaulted ceiling and French doors on three sides. The bathroom is, of course, en-suite. The third bedroom is on the second floor, with two Twin beds that convert to a King bed, flat screen TV and en-suite bathroom. Last but not least is the expansive Owner's Suite, a spacious bedroom with an impressive four-poster King bed, overhead fan, 50-inch flat screen TV and three sets of French doors. The en-suite master bathroom has a Jacuzzi that will accommodate two, twin vanities, and a custom shower with skylight. The Owner Suite closet is quite a sight to behold - a walk-in area off the size of another bedroom.


Central Heat and AC, Ceiling Fans Throughout, Heated Pool, Private gated & lushly landscaped yard with BBQ Grill, Two sets of Washer/Dryers, 50 inch LED Flat Screen TV in living room, media room and Master Bedroom, Flat Screen TV's in all other bedrooms, Expanded Cable TV throughout, DVD Players, Microwave, Blender, Toaster, Full Gourmet Appointed Kitchen, Linens and Towels provided. Daily or weekly housekeeping provided upon request. Wireless high-speed Internet access, private off-street parking included. This property will accommodate up to 8 adults.

The home was beautiful and comfortable.

Our stay was fantastic and everything we hoped for in a rental home. Shel was great! Anytime we had a question or a concern he was right there to solve it. We had a great time and when the family visited everyone was comfortable in the house. I would love to return to it. I especially loved the rear porch which was just so relaxing.

A slice of key west paradise

This is a beautiful, spacious and well maintained hideaway .The house was well equipped for entertaining .Shel Segel at last key realty was extremely helpful and even instrumental in making this an incredible experience.Shel is so knowledgeable of key west and all it has to offer.Our experience with this property and Shel as key west's good will ambassador is a memory of a life time.Thank you Shel Segel and all the rest of the people at last key reality for making our holiday vacation so incredible.

Great summer vacation in Key West

This is the second year we have come down to Key West for our summer vacation and lobster season. Last year we also utilized Last Key Realty to find a great house and we did the same this year. We went down early this year to preview houses and Shel Segel was super accommodating and showed us 8 different houses to pick from. I had contracted 2 other property management offices to show uses additional houses and neither would accommodate our request. Last Key is the only company to use. Shel made the reservation process stress free and is amazingly knowledgeable on all the local restaurants, attractions and activities. He also helped arrange housekeeping and other services throughout our stay. Shel is truly a pleasure and I recommend his services to all future Key West vacationers.

Rhapsody in Paradise is a beautiful high end home. The home is in a quiet residential section of downtown Key West. This provides an ambiance that is both relaxing and enjoyable. The backyard with the landscaping and pool was one of our favorite spots to relax. It offers a full list of amenities and is well equipped with all the necessities to which we’ve become accustomed. We could not have been any happier with our choice this year. Thanks again to Shel for all that he does.
