Please note that this is an elevated BASEMENT suite. It has 9 ft. ceiling. Since it is elevated, the windows are fully above ground and there is a lot of lighting. Only 15 mins drive from Edmonton International Airport.

The third room is a complete entertainment center. It has a 106" projector screen with an HD projector. You can watch Cable TV, Netflix, or Youtube. You can even order any latest movies (you pay of course). Your kids can play Xbox.
A fourth Queen Airbed will be provided for use in the Living spaces.

I don't have the Queen Airbed setup in the entertainment room. You can setup when needed. Inflating and deflating is very easy. The picture doesn't show the Airbed.

There is a coffee machine for those coffee enthusiasts. There is also a writing desk for work which has USB ports. You will have access to a desktop computer with a 32" TV as the monitor.
Microwave and a micro fridge. NO Kitchen. And NO cooking with table top stove!
I provide shampoo, body wash, hand soap, deodorant, body lotion, shaving gel, toothpaste, hair dryer, and lots of towels.
Two reserved parking on my driveway!
If communication is important to you, very few can beat me on that side. I usually respond with an hour, most of the time within minutes. Now, that is Priceless!
If you need access to laundry, let me know and I will do it for you.
One thing to note is that we live upstairs. So, when it comes to noise, it won't be like a hotel. But we are pretty good in keeping things quiet so that you shouldn't have much issues. Just letting you know because you need to know what to expect so that you are not surprised by anything.
I prefer that the guests enjoy their time. If you need anything, I will be there to make your stay a pleasant one.
Summerside is the only Lakeside community in Edmonton. Most importantly, my house backs onto a Lake. You have full access to my backyard and can enjoy a nice evening looking at the beautiful view. In a City like Edmonton, this view is rare.
There is public transit within a minute from the home.
I love pets but don't allow it to respect all types of guest preferences!
I have fallen in love with this beautiful city of Edmonton. My wife is the love of my life and my two sons are the best thing that happened to me. I work at a bank but I am not a banker! You get the idea. I care for people and I believe humanity trumps everything.

I can't say for sure, but you can't get a place where 7 or more people can stay comfortably at this price with complete privacy. Although it is a basement, it is an elevated basement. The ceiling is 9 ft. You have a separate entrance. So, it like an apartment. Not to mention you will be staying in Edmonton's only Lakeside community. And the icing on the cake is my house backs onto a lake. So, the view is one of a kind!
On first glance this place looks great. Great location, beautiful finishes, easy access. However, once we arrived in the room it became apparent that it had not been cleaned thoroughly in quite some time. The bathroom was especially bad (hair in the tub, deposits around the toilet, thick dust). Also, the owner doesn't change the fitted sheet on the mattresses. He asks that you sleep on top of the top sheet with only one nylon blanket to cover yourself. (He did bring me an extra throw after I complained.) Nothing is big enough to tuck in so it all slips and slides around in the night. It was obvious the bed had been slept in prior to my arrival. I offered to change the sheets myself, but he did not have any other sheets for me to use. The owner needs to invest in some new sheets so there are enough to completely swap them out each time guests change.
The owner is very up front that they live upstairs. What he doesn't tell you is that his young children don't go to bed before 11:00 pm. So, if you are a morning person who likes to go to sleep before 11:00 or 11:30 this is definitely not the place for you.
The place was just as the photo's show. It was a great experience. Being able to park on the driveway was a plus and the owners were very accommodating. Loved having the pool table in the unit! Beds were a bit hard (although I am used to a pillow top mattress). A larger fridge would definitely be a bonus for this unit, but otherwise our only other complaint was there were a few spiders (which we get is totally unavoidable!). We'd stay here again.
Very spacious and comfortable. The owner was accommodating if needed anything. Only thing is there wasn't enough furniture. A large table occupied the middle of he living space, but nothing could be put on it. Included a kitchen table and chairs would be a great addition and make it more comforting. Also a very small fridge and microwave. A larger fridge with a proper kitchen sink would make a huge difference. Maybe the addition of a kitchenette. Other then that we truly enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.
