Nice clean beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this place. Shawn is very prompt in responding to queries and refunding the security deposit, and very accommodating to requests. The house is clean and beautiful. The pool, ping pong, fire pit and bocci kept us entertained. The cottage in the back is a nice addition to the house and adds more options to spread out if need be. The fridge and pantry were stocked and came handy when we ran out of our beer and snacks late one night 😊. Board games came handy when weather played spoil sport, and also at nights. Overall we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and will definitely return whenever we plan to holiday on Long Island again.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We booked this house for a family weekend getaway to explore the North Fork. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful in answering questions before we even arrived. They made sure we had their contact information in case there were any issues. Luckily, we didn't have any issues at all! The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The house was located in a beautiful spot where it's quiet, and there's plenty of space both outdoors and indoors to hang out. We hope to come back next year!

Ideal location for exploring the North Fork of Long Island!

  • 5 of 5

This home is perfectly situated for exploring everything that the North Fork has to offer - wineries, restaurants, beaches, farm stands. We enjoyed the pool as a way to cool off at the end of the day. Short walk to a private beach. Easy drive to beaches on the south side. Plenty of space for gathering together as a family, but also room to spend time apart for reading or napping. We would definitely choose Shawn and Colleen's house for a return visit to Long Island.

We loved staying here for a wedding weekend with friends (2 other couples). The pool is huge and the back cottage with one bedroom has a ping pong table for games in addition to the bocce ball court in the backyard as well. Shawn was great to work with and very responsive! Would definitely recomend if you're staying in the area!

Wonderful accommodations in the North Fork of Long Island

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our trip to the Northern Fork of Long Island. Being able to find a home that could accommodate our family's needs was a huge plus. Shawn & Colleen's home is well kept, clean, with comfortable beds and very spacious so our family could spread out. We also enjoyed being able to use the detached cottage as a very private bedroom for one couple. It has a TV hooked up to Netflix and it's own private full bath and kitchen/fridge in the lower portion of the cottage. Shawn and Colleen were very responsive and attentive before, during and after our stay.

The highlight of our trip was a family wedding however we were able to also make day trips around the area to the quaint towns of Greenport, South Hampton and Orient Point. The local farms and wineries are in abundance, so it's easy to find nice local fresh produce and wine almost any way you turn. We enjoyed being able to take walks/runs around the neighborhood in the morning and then watch the sunset from the bay and private beach in the evening. It was nice to also kick back with a good book poolside at the house. The back yard is wonderfully landscaped, making it feel like a very private oasis.

We highly recommend staying at Shawn & Colleen's home. You won't be disappointed.
