One of 9 situated on a large gardened property in the business heart of Cabo

Luxury home with awesome private patio and huge swimming pool area. Patio has a BBQ with lots of seating and privacy.

Interior of the home has large eating bar area with 5 stools for pull up and expansive kitchen/ new appliances with beautiful dining room table that seats six. Bedrooms consist of master bedroom with king size bed/ second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Both bedrooms have their own televisions from satellite TV, 3rd flat screen television in the living room area. Tons of closet space everywhere. This home also comes with the FREE use of a NISSAN PLATINA 4 door sedan, you will get the use of the car for atleast 1 day per 7 days stayed. The car is fully insured so plan a Baja full day exploration (see pictures)

Home contains separate laundry room with washer/ dryer. 24 foot post and beam palapa ceiling through out. Home is across the street from Cabo's finest shopping center with liquor store/ cineplex/ grocery store and dozens of smaller shops (McDonalds for the junk food addicts).

About Russell Jackson

I purchased my first property in Cabo 23 years ago and now have 16 including my own home. The weather here is to die for, literally no rain, it is the only place in the world surrounded by water with a desert rated climate. A tropical desert location surrounded by the Pacific and Sea of Cortez with almost no humidity. The women have to love this. The Mexican culture is very endearing and the people so friendly and hospitable. Oh, and Mexico is about 1/3 the price on any other world wide tourist destination, even in Cabo.

Not what we expected

The property is very close to a road and incredibly noisy at night. We stayed one night (my husband slept with earplugs, the rest of us weren't so lucky). The beds were very hard and uncomfortable with water stains on the sides and the sheets were old and had "pilled".

This was definitely not what we expected from the description of a "Newly Renovated Luxury Cabana Home" and we left after the first night.

I do wish that we had contacted the property manager prior to getting another place, but at that point we were so disappointed that we just wanted to be done with it.

Owner's Response: The home was completely renovated and everything new after hurricane Oilers which turned my property into a basketball court, all that was left was the slab and it took one year to re-build in its entirety. The listing says it is on a main artiery of traffic. The beds have new matrasses and the king very expensive but they are firm, not sloppy which hurt people's posture and back. I offered the people a different location to stay but as the wife said it is unfortunate she did not contact me until she had already booked another place. The husband seemed fine and since their departure there has been 2 further rental , keeping December fully booked through Airbnb with great reviews, no problems with noise and very happy. I am truely sorry for their circumstance but the long flight from Alaska plus delays, no conversation may have led to the abrupt decision. Stuff happens and I ensure all guests no matter where they are staying to relax and enjoy Mexico and especially Cabo ! The home is as pictured and stated., one year now newly renovated.

Noisy, noisy, noisy

This property is right on highway 19. You can hear the traffic, heavy traffic, all day, and seems to be heavier at night. We booked for six nights and left after one night of no sleep. The next door neighbor has two dogs that barked often enough that it was annoying and the neighbor decided to play some music,loudly, early in the morning. At that point, it made no difference as we were over saturated with noise from the highway. The owner came by to check in on us and fix the tv which was not working when we got there. The tv in the main bedroom was not working and there was no tv in the spare room as advertised. If you do book it, make sure you get the owner's cell phone number as it took us six hours to get there, between the traffic backup from the Iron Man and we had to drive around for two hours looking for the place as we did not have a specific address and our taxi driver did not speak English. When we got there, we had to wait for somebody who lived there to let us into the gate, the wander around till we found casa 2, which fortunately, was left open. Have not tried to get a refund and doubt that we will. If you are immune to noise, it would probably be o.k.

Owner's Response: I am sorry that the noise seemed to bother them, no other renter has ever complained, I waited for 2 hours for the guests to arrive, but they did not and no email at all, they informed me their phones were not working, and that is okay, part of doing vacation rentals, and I left the door open but it was dark upon their final arrival. I had my neighbour check several times on the arrival to make sure all was okay. He advised me they finally arrived okay. I arrived at 8 in the am. to greet them and the gentleman seemed great but the lady extremely agitated, the TV. was adjusted in 2,3 minutes (remote on wrong setting, ), TV in master was working, no TV in 2nd bedroom, will remove from listing . The property is exactly as advertised and I am sorry they took 7 hours to go 30 miles which was unfortunate and would leave anybody frustrated. I did not know their was an ironman triathalon but the taxi driver should have, and 98 percent of all taxi drivers take the toll road, the charge for a taxi is $85.00 and the toll road $3.00, all the delay could have been avoided but for a CHEAP taxi driver.They would have arrived with 4 hours of daylight, relaxed by the pool, had a beer and chilled, I think everything would have been different. The guest was 7 hours late and against my better judgement and security concerns I left the property open. Zero communications in 7 hours from the guest. They had the address and directions and my Mexican cell phone number to borrow the cab drivers phone and be a little considerate and phone and I could have helped them out.I am sorry they chose to leave.

Great Experience!

We stayed here one week and had a great time. The property was as advertised with a nice community pool and a short drive from the beach and downtown. The owner delivered the keys early and responded to communications very quickly. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in Cabo.

You are less than 10 minutes by taxi ($8.00) to the beaches and marina area, bus public transportation abounds to all areas. Cabo's largest shopping plaza is directly acroos the street with lots of boutique shopping, cinemas, casino, restaurants abound from pizza houses to sushi parlors to Mexican and Gringo restaurants. The property is literally an oasis in the middle of the downtown business area with easy access to everywhere. The property grounds are unbelievable with the magnificent gards to the incredible pool and pool deck areas. Your cabana is also totally private and refreshing. You are in the heart of traditional Mexico at it's best. Sit back around your patio or pool, have a beer and enjoy. Your cabana has great music, a private patio ares that seats 6 or more for outside dinners done on your own barbque..
