Cape Haus is a great addition to the Pristine Properties’ inventory. A very desirable feature is that it is a single level home. There is a short set of stairs to enter the home and then everything inside is all on one level. This home has a very open floor with lots of living area. With windows lining the wall in the living room it allows for a bright, naturally lit interior. There are 3 bedrooms in this home, one is semi-private and open to the living room. Another, the master bedroom, is a large room with French doors that open into the den. To top this home off, there is a large screened porch on the backside of the home and an open deck on the front with views of the Gulf. Reasonably priced, this home has it all, gorgeous furnishings, lots of room, a short walk to the beach, a perfect combination for a great family vacation. Also this property is Pet Friendly, allowing 2 pets at a time, with a pet fee per dog.
Floor Plan: Ground Level – Lots of room under house for covered, paved parking. 1st level – dining area, additional bar space, kitchen, entrance to the screened porch, living room with large flat screen TV, DVD and Bedroom 1 – a semi-private room with queen bed; den with sleeper sofa, Bedroom 2 – queen bed, flat screen TV/DVD, full bath with a walk-in closet with built-in orgainzers and shower only; laundry room, Bedroom 3 – queen bed and an entrance to screen porch; and full bath with shower/tub combo.
Additional Pet Fee of $125 will apply for guests bringing pets.
Booked for our annual family scallop picking trip. Unfortunately, scallop season was pushed back but fortunately everything about this property made up for it! Great location that's walkable to the beach as well as Cape Trading Post where you can get delicious donuts and coffee in the morning and return for evening ice cream with family and friends.
Well-maintained, open layout of the home encouraged our large group to spend quality time together when not at the beach or state park. Back covered porch was great during the brief time it rained and at night during an unwind session with some wine. Carport underneath the house has an outside shower which was perfect when returning from the beach. Not too big or small of a place, yet perfect for the purpose that it serves which is a get-away. Definite will consider booking this property again in the future if our group size doesn't increase.
Only bad thing I have to note about is the ceiling fan when walking down into the living room/TV area. It is located in a spot that makes you fear that you may hit your head on the spinning blades as you step down the stairs. Not too much of a concern for those 5'10" and under but anyone 6'0" and above might want to duck their heads.
