This beautiful home is only 3 blocks from the beach. It provides 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms. Located in the city of Carpinteria, it is centered next to many restaurants, shops, downtown access, and only a 3 min walk to the ocean. This home will help you forget about reality, and let you enjoy a true vacation experience. The house is across from the train pick up location, which gives you access to taking a 10 min ride to the heart of Santa Barbara. With so many attractions near by, this is a true destination to repeat over and over.
We take an annual family trip to the beach. This property was great in many way; location to beach and shops, slept 9 fairly comfortably (one really hard bed), good bathrooms and and a nice small table in yard. However, the layout was very small for the amount of people it says it accommodates. There was only one small sitting area with a small couch and two chairs and one T.V (though advertised as having another TV). The dining area was just behind the couch and had a small table that can sit only 4. The kitchen had very low end plates and pots/pans and two of the burners did not work. The trash was overflowing in the cans in the driveway and we had to leave all of our trash in garage. Also, it is across the street from the train tracks and station so there was a lot of noise throughout the night and the house shook when freight trains zoomed by in the middle of the night.
This property was perfect to host several family members that came from out of town to attend my daughters wedding. The location is a short 3 block walk to the beach, and to town. You can park your car, and walk everywhere! The Amtrak train station is directly across the street, so you can even hop on the train to Santa Barbara, a short 10 min trip. We loved watching the train come into the station. The noise was surprisingly non existent, so no worries there.
All amenities are included, so no need to bring anything special. Communication was great and the transaction was flawless. Can't wait to stay here again. Also do try to stop at Esau's for breakfast! Just around the corner.
