carpinteria condo

We loved the location. The condo was nice but could be incredible with a few changes. Need at least one more tv and a dvd player. Would be nice to have the kitchen at least stocked with basics like salt and pepper. The glasses need replacing(plastic ones) Need better silverware storage. Would be nice to have rugs near doors when raining so you could at least wipe your feet before coming in on hardwood floors. Would have been nice to have decent patio furniture to sit outside. Really need a barbeque. The shower in master needs soap dishes or place to put shampoo etc. Door to shower very hard to move. Couldn't believe there was no hair dryer. Like I said this is a very nice place but with a few changes it could be an incredible place.

Property was neat and clean. The location was perfect. We did not want to leave. The property owner was responsive and went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful. He has two homes so great for a few families.

Location, location

This property is conveniently located across from the Amtrak station. We flew from Sacramento to Burbank and took the train (again, across the street from the airport) to Carpinteria. We were about 5 blocks from the beach - which we walked every morning. The bedrooms were lovely - all new linens and comfortable beds. The rest of the place was new and comfortable, as well. Nice front yard within a gate and a sitting area under a tree. Nice location to walk all over town. Close to Rincon Brewing, Esos (a wonderful breakfast place), the famous Spot hamburger stand, shops, markets, etc. There was a farmers market on Thursday evening downtown. The place comfortably sleeps 5 with their own beds, but you can double up on the beds. There are two full baths and a half bath. Large screen T.V. The owner was prompt in responding with my questions and I found him quite pleasant to deal with.

Generously sized accommodation in a nice part of Carpinteria

There were six of us staying in this house for our family reunion, but the house could accommodate at least three more people quite comfortably.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is reasonably well equipped, extremely clean, and has plenty of good quality clean linens. Everything works and there's plenty of room for preparing meals and hanging out. It's a lovely place to wake up, and close to everything you want in Carpinteria: the beach, Esau's, the train station, grocery store, and Island Brewing Company (nice brewpub) are all just a short walk away.

Carpinteria is one of the nicest California coastal towns you'll find. It's sweet and unpretentious, and within an easy drive of Santa Barbara's art museum, mission, and shopping amenities. But there's so much to do in Carpinteria — paddle boarding, swimming, walking on the beach, wildlife viewing and more — that you really don't need to leave at all.

Anslem is a very responsive and kind rental manager. He really wants you to enjoy your stay, and makes sure you have everything you need. I strongly recommend this rental.

Best vacation rental in Carpinteria!

Just like advertised and lots of parking which was necessary for our group. This beautiful house was literally three blocks from the ocean and waking distance to downtown Carpinteria. Super relaxing!

Great family spot

This place was perfect for our family group of 3 adults, 4 kids, and a baby. There are three bedrooms upstairs, including one with 3 beds in it, and one down the hall that was nice and quiet for grandma. The partly-finished 2-car garage (carpeted & containing a couch and a mattress) was a great place for the kids to play. We used the small downstairs table for breakfast and board games. The location was the best part. We walked to the beach every day, and it was close enough to let the 10- and 13-year-olds walk there on their own. Linden Ave is just a couple of blocks away, with a little corner market right at the end of the street and a grocery store a few blocks further up (a bigger store is also less than a mile away). The Amtrak station is across the street, which we used for a day trip to Santa Barbara. We parked on the street because the back house was using the driveway, but had no trouble parking right in front of the house. We had the front house of two houses and I think some of the photos & info must be for the back house. The front house has a nice grassy, fenced front yard but there's no patio or outdoor seating area; and there was only one tv, not 3 (which was fine for us, we're trying to limit the kids' tv time). We couldn't get the AC to work but the owners brought us fans for all the bedrooms, which worked out fine. The kitchen was a little undersupplied (no measuring cups, rickety pots & pans, just a 2-cup coffeemaker) and lacked a microwave, several windows were missing their screens, and there was no dustpan or vacuum, but the beds had lots of comfortable pillows, there were plenty of bath & kitchen towels, the whole place was immaculate when we arrived, and we really appreciated having the washer & dryer for our beach towels etc. The owners were responsive to our requests and I think as time goes on the house will become better and better.
