A beautiful1 bedroom in the heart of Fitzrovia, Central London. The street is free of any traffic allowing our guests to enjoy a quiet relaxing stay in the middle of London!

Arranged over the first floor of a well maintained Victorian building in the heart of fashionable Fitzrovia, this beautiful large one bedroom flat offers bright, modern interiors/whilst keeping its period charm.

The flat comes fully equipped to make your stay in Central London most enjoyable. No corners are cut on towels or linens/and there are plenty spare for those who don't wish to wash and dry on holiday.

Apartment Features: We're happy to arrange our cleaner to come in if this is requested.

The living room has a flat LCD TV and DVD player with a selection of DVD's to watch during your stay. .

The flat was fully refurbished less than a year ago and features solid oak flooring throughout, provencial stonework in the bathroom and integrated kitchen appliances. There's a fridge/freezer, hob and plenty of pots and pans for those wishing to cook meals at home. A water filter is also supplied. There's a filter coffee maker, a French Press There's an excellent choice of shops that sell fresh ground coffee.

We Just added a new sofa bed.

The kitchen has all mod cons and also a selection of cookery books should you wish to experiment at home.

There's a selection of grocery shops within a five minute walk of the flat, Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer, Tesco and Waitrose will have all you need for your stay.

There's the independent Villandry on Great Portland St for the more special culinary treat...and also the simply fantastic La Fromagerie for cheese. This is one of the best cheese shops in London.

The bathroom has very good water pressure and constant hot water ,so there will be no worries for larger groups staying at the flat. The flat benefits from independent central heating for the somewhat cold British winters.

The bedroom has a wardrobe with hanging space and suitcases can easily be put to the side.

Cleveland Street is home to a number of local shops, cafe's and restaurants and is well positioned close to Charlotte Street and Oxford Street.

Fitzrovia is a neighbourhood in central London, near London's West End lying partly in the London Borough of Camden (in the east) and partly in the City of Westminster (in the west); and situated between Marylebone and Bloomsbury and north of Soho.

More about Fitzrovia: This historically bohemian area was once home to such writers as Virginia Woolf, George Bernard Shaw and Arthur Rimbaud, Bob Dylan played one of his first shows just down the road.

A few minutes away is Fitzroy Sq...a piece of Georgian design that has aged beautifully.A few more blocks away and one can view the architecture of Nash and his row of terrace houses near Regents Park.

For those traveling with young children a visit to Pollocks Toy Museum on nearby Whitfield St will be sure to delight them. The perfect place to pick up gifts for those back home! I have to admit even I go in there and I'm always in awe of the treasures of childhoods past that they have on display.Next door is their theatre print shop...again...well worth a visit. Whilst on the subject of theatre there's the Theatre Bookshop on Conway St with its numerous books on all theatre related matters.

The number of restaurants on nearby Charlotte St really is amazing. There's something to cater to every taste and budget! We can assure you that you'll love this street. This street is less than 5 minutes from the flat.

The London Zoo is nearby and this should delight all ages.

The nearby shopping on Oxford St will be a real treat for people who love to shop until they drop. From high end shops to the two very large budget Primarks, one will find something to take back home with them. After a morning strolling aroud the West End a special treat of a full English Afternnoon Tea will sure to become a special memory of your time in London. Yes, it can be somewhat expensive but it should be something that should be tried if you have the time and budget. The Ritz is by far the best in London. The Savoy, The Dorchester,Browns, and Clariddge's are all expensive but worth it.The National Portrait Gallery,The Wallace Collection and the Langham are more affordable and equally as good. Fortnum and Mason on nearby Picacadilly is also worth it. Their food hall is amazing/and even if you don't have time for the full Afternoon Tea you could buy some tea to take back with you. The tin cans are simply stunning in design.A great gift for those back home.

About James Koumis property manager

My name is James and I manage this property for a friend of mine. My oldest and best friend owns the flat upstairs!

Why James Koumis property manager chose Westminster & West End

I love the area of Fitzrovia.! It's such a great area to stay in and the street is very quiet. There's very much a community feel to it with the owners of the numerous cafes and restaurants always saying hello. It's sometime hard to believe that this is right in the centre of London as the neighbourhood is so friendly. There are great quality shops with minutes of the flats and you can even walk to Covent Garden from here. The main shopping areas of Regent St and Oxford St are just down the road.

Fantastic modern flat in a quiet area yet walking distance to the West End.

  • 5 of 5

I really enjoyed staying in this flat for ten days. It is warm, cosy and comfortable. In a quiet street but close to tube and bus stops. Many restaurants and cafes are in the area. I would stay here again anytime.

Cozy flat in a fun neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

The place is on the tiny side--like a studio apartment with a bedroom tacked on, but perfectly comfortable for our family of 3; ideal for a couple briefly staying in London. Charlene welcomed us upon arrival and she and James were never more than a text or call away if questions arose. We made ourselves at home and were happy to have this as our home base for exploring central London and beyond.

Highly recommended

  • 5 of 5

Two of us stayed in this flat for five nights recently and were very pleased with both the location and accommodation. The bedroom is set back from the street so is quiet as well as large with plenty of storage. We used the sofa bed in the living room as well, and found that even leaving it out during the day left enough room to watch tv in the chairs. The bathroom is nicely finished and the laundry facilities much appreciated.

We were met at the flat by the owner and given all the information we needed for our stay, as well as a phone number for any questions that might arise.

Although we missed the opportunity to eat at the Brazilian cafe as it wasn't open on Sunday (it might be now), we did enjoy a great meal at Thai Metro on Charlotte Street.

Many thanks for a great stay in London. Will be back.

Fantastic small flat

  • 5 of 5

We were with our 5 year old son for 4 nights in this appartment. The flat was very clean and the towels and bed sheets freshly washed. They must just have done a renovation as the bathroom was new with nice mosaic tiles and a new vanity unit which you cannot see on the images and the kitchen and reception area was painted. There was a large kingsize bed in the bedroom and a double futon bed sofa and an additional bed for one person in the living room. We were surprised how quiet the nights were although the flat is very centrally located. We always walked to the Oxford street, it took about 10 min. Just a few seconds from this building there was a nice Brazilian cafe with wonderful rice cupcakes. The kitchen had a senseo coffee machine and wonderful coffee. We went out of coffee pads but found in the next Tesco the right coffee pads. The next tube stations were Warren Street and Goodge Street.

Enjoyed our stay

  • 3 of 5

We spent 6 nights in this small apartment which is a good size for 2, like other apartments steep/narrow stairs up, good shower, bed a bit soft. Dishwasher and laundry facilities a bonus. Easy access by tube, easy walk to many places and an array of restaurants. Could do with a paint job.
