the most PERFECT weekend!
This home was welcoming and warm from the minute you drive up. It was VERY clean, beds comfy and the owners were absolutely fantastic! Tara is such a sweetheart, making sure we had everything we needed. The home is beautiful the pictures don't do it justice. Outside patio was perfect for our wine tasting. All 10 of us were so happy with it. Close enough to Lanesboro for all our needs but we're content in this charming home and neighborhood. We will return.

This home is a gem! Great location, plenty of room and lovingly cared for nice blend of old & modern
The Corson’s have done a great job at restoring the beauty of a gorgeous old home. Our family gathered in the area for a milestone birthday celebration and this home was the hands down favorite! Great central location for biking and kayaking on the Root River. Six bedrooms and happy to have the air conditioning with the warm weather. Great backyard and fire pit as well as a nice patio for relaxing. Spacious rooms and the hospitality shared by the Cordon’s was top notch. We liked the recommendations of local businesses and the self-guided Amish craft tour that were provided and all were excellent as promised. It was nice to have WIFI, and flat screen tv’s, and latest model washer and dryer. We were pleased that we had a garage to store our bikes.
We would definitely return here and highly recommend this great home.
Two days in Preston
The place worked fine for our rather large group. It was as expected with adequate space, enough utensils, cookware, etc., and Tara made sure everything went well, checking in before our arrival, and again during a heavy storm, to be sure we could find candles if there was a power failure.
Beautiful and comfortable home!
The house is charming and roomy, perfect for a group of people. Conveniently located near the bike trail. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the bedding is impeccable. Tara was accessible to help us out if needed. Would definitely rent again!
Beautiful old home, as described
This was a lovely, comfortable home. Our stay was marred by the weather. It was unbelievably humid for the entire time, so much so that we never were able to ride our bikes, and that was the purpose of the trip. I think the humidity was uncharacteristic of the location, but there it was. Thankfully, the home had air conditioners all over the place, and they were wonderful. The house was spacious, immaculate, and had just about everything we could need. We love to cook while traveling, and this home made it a pleasure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thanks for providing such a great place!
Thank you for your lovely review! It was a pleasure to have you as guests. We hope you return again!
Large enough for plenty of people.
We had nine adults and five kids stay in the house and fifteen more of the family members stay at Trailhead Inn. Every one came to the house for meals and backyard activities. Everyone thought it was great. The bike trail is about two blocks away. We went tubing on the Root River.
Had a great time.
