About Shannon Derby

Shannon has lived in Boulder since 1986 and has thoroughly enjoyed all Boulder has to offer. She looks forward to you enjoying her town home's convenient location in what continues to be in the top 10 list of places to live!

Shannon Derby purchased this townhome in 1998

Why Shannon Derby chose Boulder

Wellman Creek is 1 block off Foothills Parkway, 2 blocks from the Boulder Turnpike, on the bike path, etc...whether traveling by car, bus or bike it's super accessible. For Boulder, it's a newer neighborhood. It's close to CU, but not full of students, more family oriented.

What makes this townhome unique

Free access to Mountains' Edge Fitness for 1 week or more visitors.

Roomy, Convenient and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Having three bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for our family vacation . The condo is conveniently located close to the CU campus, and both a bus stop and a Bcycle station are within a block of the entrance to the condo community. We would recommend a coffee table in the living room or a larger kitchen table to allow more than 4 people to sit and eat at the same time, but that was the only real detraction from the property. Shannon (the owner) was very easy to contact and responsive to any questions or requests. Thanks!

Convenient Condo

  • 5 of 5

Holt and Shannon were great hosts, staying in communication throughout the process. On the day we were to have arrived, a blizzard hit the Denver area. Holt wanted to find out what time we were going to arrive so that he could have the snow shoveled off the driveway. Unfortunately, our flight was cancelled, and we didn't arrive until 2 days later. Thankfully, Holt was lenient with our check-out time on the tail end. That was very much appreciated.

The condo was a perfect set-up for my family of 5. It was comfortable, quiet, and had pretty much everything we needed. The location is great: easy access to CU, the shops on 28th Street, the mountains, and Pearl Street. I guess my only gripe is that the dishwasher did not thoroughly clean the dishes, and I had to re-wash several of the loads. But other than that, I would recommend renting this unit. I would stay here again!

Lovely townhome rental in Boulder

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for 4 nights with our family of 4. Lovely townhome in a great location - close to CU, shopping, restaurants, etc. Kitchen had everything we need to prepare several dinners just like we would at home - also has gas grill in garage which we used a couple times. Very nice and comfortable family room with fireplace and TV where we enjoyed spending time together. Nice neighborhood and quiet, too. Absolutely would recommend this - we will be back.

Excellent Boilder rental!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great three night stay here with our son and his friend. They were there to tour CU Boulder. This is in a terrific location. Close to the college, bars, restaurants and shopping. The unit is located in a nice development. It is well maintained and stocked with everything you need. It was easy to access, clean and in a safe neighborhood. Can't wait to go back and stay longer!

The location was wonderful. Easy to get around. The house was clean and comfortable. The house needed some items. But overall we enjoyed the stay.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at the Derby House! It was very comfortable, very clean, and very convenient to the University campus. We used the bike and walking trails which were an added bonus. We would definitely go back!
