We got to experience vintage Ogunquit!
We loved staying at Rick and Michelle's cottage. They were very helpful and only a phone call away if we needed anything. The cottage was comfortable and provided all that we needed. It was nestled in beautiful trees within a short walk to Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. The beach was a 30 minute walk (easy) but you can trolley in as well. It was gorgeous and so relaxing. I'll miss having tea on the screened in porch every morning. Maine is magical.
The Knight cottage has perfect rustic charm! Rick and Michelle were fantastic hosts! The house was clean and well stocked. The location of the cabin is very private, yet only a few minutes walk to the footbridge.
We loved our stay at Michelle and Rick's cottage. The house is a beautiful 1920's era spacious cottage with rustic charm, beautiful hardwood floors, big windows and a lovely wrap-around porch. We completely enjoyed our stay there. Highlights were grilling out, enjoying meals and playing guitar on the screened in porch, walking to Perkin's Cove (5 minute walk) for breakfast, dinner and early morning sunrises. My husband, our teenage daughter and I all were happy and comfortable in the cottage. Michelle and Rick were great hosts and the property is a gem along the Maine Coast.... close to Perkin's Cove, yet tucked away in the woods for a relaxing vacation retreat.
Charming, peaceful, very clean and well equipped. The owners, Michelle and Rick are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!
The Knight family cottage is a jem. A 1920's summer cottage with all rhe 21 century services!
