Nice place to stay
Great location to Winter Harbor and less visited portions of Acadia. Very clean and comfortable.
Kim was very easy to work with, loved the cabin.
Thank you for your review...we are so glad that you enjoyed the cabin!
Just what we were looking for....
Thank you Kim and B for sharing your little piece of paradise with us! We were looking for something peaceful and relaxing and this quaint log cabin was perfect! Since the temps were falling at night, Kim provided us with a space heater, which worked perfect! Our favorite place was Acadia on Schoodic peninsula just 15-20 minutes away watching the wave crash in. We did check out Bar Harbor and drove up to Cadillac Mountain, which was beautiful; however, that is where all the people were. If you are adventurous and like a good, steep climb, Tunk Mountain was quite the adventure. Upon reaching the top, the view was breath-taking. Highly recommend this little gem!!
Wonderful Cabin - Great Location
This is a wonderful cabin in the woods. My husband and I were very impressed. The owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The little notes telling of local attractions were extremely helpful and appreciated. The cabin was very clean and well cared for and the owner was a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend this property and plan to rent it again ourselves in the future. Thank you!!
Quiet and cozy place to spend a honeymoon
My wife and I loved staying in this cabin! We were here for six nights in early October, just as the leaves were beginning to change. The cabin had all the comforts one could want, including a small refrigerator, lots of hot water, a comfy bed, and satellite TV! The location was great: minutes from a small-town grocery and local restaurants, and a five-minute walk from the water. I'd been to Acadia/Bar Harbor before, but it was great to see the quieter side of the park out on the Schoodic Peninsula. Fair warning: the loft has a low ceiling, so if you're on the tall side, like me, you won't be able to stand up straight up there. Other than that, the place was perfect, and Kim was very helpful!
This quaint, clean, quiet cabin was perfectly outfitted and located. We loved every little detail about it. We are grateful for Kim’s hospitality and communication with us for our stay. An absolutely delightful stay.
Thank you so much, and please come back again! I am so glad that you enjoyed our cabin.
Corea Harbor is a paradise for photographers, naturalists, artists, writers, birders, cyclists, and hikers. It is a quaint coastal fishing village set away from time. If you love the outdoors and seek simplicity, this is a place that you will truly enjoy. It will set you free from the busy world we all get caught up in! Our property is less than a mile from the National Wildlife Refuge, and you are sure to see bald eagles and osprey and hummingbirds etc. Acadia National Park (Schoodic peninsula) is less than 10 minutes away and the ferry to Bar Harbor is only a 20 minute boat ride, or 50 min by car. Enjoy a camp fire at night outside of your cabin or walk down to the harbor to get your fresh lobster from the local lobstermen. We welcome outdoor enthusiasts, writers, photographers etc to stay in our rustic log cabin and we hope that you will enjoy our simple way of life.
