About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 & 1/2 Baths (Sleeps 6)

Bear View Cove is a nicely renovated and furnished mountain cabin located in the Smokey Mountains of North Georgia, just 1 1/2 hours from Atlanta. It is perfectly located at the tri-state borders of GA, NC and TN.

A complete renovation features wood floors, stainless steel appliances, and rustic mountain furnishings. This cabin is special because it is secluded from neighbors, with a long private driveway. It provides beautiful seasonal mountain views and is shaded with majestic oak and pine trees. The property is a few minutes from the Woodruff Boyscout Camp, providng thousands of acres of undeveloped forest land as the perfect neighbor for a mountain get-a-way. Enjoy the 1,500+ sq feet of outside patio and deck area, that features a hot tub, and an outside campfire site. Star gazing is amazing. The Chalet style cabin features two bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths with beautiful stained glass windows and updated appliances.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We needed a little R&R after moving out of our house (while waiting to move to our new place). Tired and worn out, we found this cabin to be the perfect respite. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful! The cabin was comfortable; king bed was the best I've slept in a long time! Loved the hot tub (can see so many stars at night!). Went fishing at nearby Lake Nottley—didn't catch any but it is gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely little cabin

  • 4 of 5

I love A-frames and this one was nice. It is super cozy for a couples getaway. If I had any complaint is was that some of the bedding wasn't the freshest and the hot tub cover needs desperately to be replaced. Hot tub itself was great. All in all, its a really good deal for a romantic trip to the mountains.

Perfect in every way

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week and it was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to be secluded and not bothered and that exactly what we found here. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The king bed was soft and comfortable. We honestly loved our entire trip. We loved it so much we ended up adding an extra night to our stay. Huge thanks to Seth for being quick to respond and helpful when we had any questions. Hopefully we will be able to visit here again.

Cutest little cabin in the most beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is the perfect escape from city life! So quiet, peaceful and private, but still close to a few towns that have great shops, breweries and restaurants. More hiking within 30 min than you could do in a month! Furniture was very comfortable and cozy, and the hot tub was great after long days of hiking. I would 100% recommend and hopefully can come back!

Peace and quite

  • 4 of 5

If you like a private place to stay, Bear View Cove is the place for you. You are not alone in the woods, but it seems as if you are. We enjoyed this quite, peaceful cabin very much. We loved having lunch on the deck. Sometimes we had coffee, or hot tea while rocking on the front porch, and enjoying the beautiful scenery around us. We knew there wasn't a creek on the property, but I did find a small spring across the road from the cabin. It wasn't running much, but it was running. We hope to return next year.

Awesome

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed, peaceful, relaxing, comfortable. Had fun hiking, soaking in the hot tub, site seeing and visiting the small towns, shopping, visited a couple apple houses, antique shops. The fall color was pretty and the mountains were beautiful. Had a wonderful time. Betty and Rick Stuckey
