We spent five nights at these condos in Quebec City in early May 2013. The location is perfect - easy parking across the street, bus stop just in front of the building. Also easy walking access to the Port and Old City areas. It is also easy to access the nearby highways to explore beyond Quebec City. There is a full grocery store and liquor store a short drive away. The apartment is beautifully decorated and equipped throughout. Although Quai Sainte Andre is a busy street, the condo was quiet.
As noted in the other review, confirming dates, payments and check in and out were easy.
We would recommend these condos to anyone visiting Quebec City.
Not sure why nobody else has reviewed these condos. My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary in Quebec City and stayed in one of these units for 3 nights. The building is very well-located adjacent to the old city and within walking distance to the Old Port Market which features stall upon stall of local produce, fish, cheeses, etc. Quai Saint-Andre is a somewhat busy street, but Rue Saint Paul is a beautiful row of shops, galleries, and restaurants, with another 10+ restaurants right around the corner. The short walk uphill to the Upper Town is along curving, walled streets and staircases. We also brought our bikes, which we could store in a locked street-level room (the trash room, so other residents do have the keys), and took the bike path which runs directly across the street all the way out to Montmorency Falls.
The apartment itself was fantastic. All new decor and a fully stocked kitchen, a great bed, wifi, television, iphone dock for music. And the roof deck is a pleasant bonus with comfortable outdoor furniture and a view of an evening lightshow projected on a large industrial building in the distance across the port. The apartments are all walk-up, which may be an issue for some.
Booking and payment were straightforward with clear instructions on arranging to get the keys from our local contact. She met us promptly as we arrived, gave us a detailed and unhurried orientation to the apartment and her cellphone number in case we had any issues. Free parking is located directly across the street.
When looking for a rental in Quebec City I was puzzled that these properties had no reviews. Perhaps it's because they are fairly new, or new to VRBO. The guest book had several glowing reviews, and I would heartily recommend staying here to friends and would visit again.
