Enjoy panoramic views from Treasure Cay in the North to Marsh Harbour in the south as well as spectacular sunsets from the porch. The 100 ft long private dock has 50 amp electricity and water, and can accommodate both Sail and Power vessels. There is a fish cleaning station with running water, an ice making machine that makes 50 pounds of ice, and a chest freezer to hold your catch.

Each room in the cottage feature sliding doors that opens up to a porch or deck and makes it easy to enjoy the breezes and water views. The kitchen is spacious and fully appointed. The screened-in porch makes outdors dining comfortable, while enjoying breathtaking sunsets. The 4 bedrooms all have adjacent bathrooms. A built-in split central air condition system takes care of your comfort on hot days.
A 3 minute walk will take you to the 5 mile long white, sandy Atlantic Ocean beach, from which you can go snorkeling, swimming, sea glass hunting, shelling or simply walking. A ten minute stroll along the beach will bring you to famous Nipper's Beach Bar and Restaurant.
2 bicycles and 2 sit-on-top kayaks for getting around on land as well as on the water, is available.
There is a small generator available if the power should go out for a longer period.

About Robert Heimann
Elisabeth and I have been sailing the Caribbean and the Bahamas for over 25 years. We often anchored at Great Guana Cay and when the time came to come ahsore we were not in doubt where we wanted to be. We feel lucky to be retired and able to spend most of the winter here. Summers are spent on Shelter Island, NY with the kids and grandkids.
Robert Heimann purchased this Cottage in 2008

Perfect Waterfront Home
Beautiful, clean, well-maintained home with everything we needed for a perfect vacation. It basically has 3 master suites, with the 4th bedroom also having it's own bathroom right across the hall. The large, open living area, with the deck attached, makes for plenty of space for everyone. It's also very private with expansive views.
The dock is in excellent condition and kept our boat safe and easily accessible all week. We had fun jumping off the end of the dock, even at low tide, and snorkeling with stingrays and a wide variety of fish and other sea-life right there! At night the water would light up with thousands of little blue flashes and streaks from some sort of bio-luminescence. I don't know if this is seasonal, or if it's always there, but it was pretty cool.
There are no bicycles - apparently they've been gone for a couple years - but everything else was there and worked perfectly. The ice maker in the garage was a huge bonus for us.
I don't usually return to the same place for vacations, but I might have to make an exception for this beauty!
Spectacular Bayside Home
We have stayed at Temara twice. For certain, we will return. Bright, special, cozy. Spectacular views, great dock, perfect location. Wonderful veranda. Gina, the caretaker, is superfriendly and helpful. We love this house, you really feel like you are in a home away from home.
