Overview

About the property

3 bedroom, 2 and 1/2 bathroom across from marina

Our newly renovated 3 story house is located on the peninsula of Eastport, Annapolis. We are across the street from Turner's Marina and have views of Back Creek from the top two floors of the house. With 3 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 bathrooms, we sleep a maximum of 8. We are an easy walk across the Spa Creek bridge into downtown Annapolis, but why bother when you can visit the excellent bars and restaurants in Eastport itself. Davis' Pub, featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, is less than 200 feet away and a variety of local and nationally known restaurants are a very short walk away on the small Eastport peninsula.

Beautiful, well kept home

  • 5 of 5

Vera and John made us feel welcome. Their home is beautiful and beautifully kept. We easily slept five people who each needed their own bed. There are options for three couples with an additional two single beds. (The one downside is the pull out couch on the third floor is not very comfortable to sleep in!). The kitchen is superbly stocked. The backyard and grill are lovely.

The location was perfect for us as it is only a few minutes walk to the marina where my brother keeps his boat.

We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Annapolis.

Property is basically in new condition with updated kitchen and bathrooms

  • 5 of 5

It was easy to walk to the naval academy and downtown Annapolis. The property also was suitable for hosting an afternoon graduation party on the back deck. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The air conditioning kept the home cool despite warm temps outside. The street parking was a little bit challenging at times but we always found a spot to park beautiful view of the marina from the upstairs bedrooms and a very quaint feel to this lovingly restored1890 cottage

Lovely characterful house in great location

  • 5 of 5

John and Vera's house was exactly as we anticipated from the description. Characterful, clean and extremely well maintained and furnished. Myself and a couple of colleagues were in town for the annual Annapolis Sailboat show and we decided to rent this house rather than stay in the usual dull hotels. How glad we are that we did.

Eastport is a lovely part of town and an easy 10 minute walk to the main Annapolis shops and restaurants, although there are a number of restaurants to chose from with a couple of minutes walk of the house.

We were extremely well catered for and there were no issues whatsoever in terms of our arrival and departure - John and Vera made it very easy.

Fantastic and we hope to stay again next year!

Amazing and relaxing time in Annapolis.

  • 5 of 5

The lovely house was perfect. It has everything you could possibly need or want. From BBQ in back yard with outdoor furniture, to the view of a marina. The location is ideal and walking distance to many restaurants and not far at all from the main town. It is truly a wonderful area to stay in. The house has three floors so great for getting your extra 'steps' in. Loads of privacy for each bedroom and great kitchen and family room. The beds are very comfortable. We loved sitting around the island in the kitchen chatting while preparing a meal. The owners were very helpful and offered lots of options for reaturants and places of interest. Thanks John and Vera .!!
