This cabin offers a unique combination of great views, comfort and seclusion. Perfect for a romantic getaway or for a family of four.
This newly constructed solid log cabin has awesome views for 7 miles to the North of the Pine Mountains and 7 miles to the South. Wrap around porches and decks. The house is on 175 acres of timberland with only one other cabin and no other houses around.
This log cabin feels authentic with log furniture throughout.
Talbot county is one of the least populated and undeveloped counties in Georgia and you can really see that from this house! The house has all the modern amenities.
This cabin is a very different experience from other Pine Mountain rentals where you are packed into a sub-division with other cabins.
My wife, two sons, and I spend as much time in Woodland as we can.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2011
Woodland is a peaceful place where everyone knows everyone and there are no large corporations.
My son's are ages 12 and 9 and they love to explore and play in the woods.
This property is well kept, with great views, and a responsive owner. It is perfectly secluded, with the exception of the other cabin on the property, and offers modern amenities. This was my second stay with a great experience. I recommend bringing meals to prepare at the cabin as you are about 20 minutes from stores/restaurants. There's plenty of fire wood for winter stays and the fireplace heats the entire cabin. Highly recommended for a secluded getaway.
We enjoyed a short visit to this beautiful cabin. It was very well kept with a great view. The porch was so nice to enjoy morning coffee and just relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great with good water pressure! Our stay was just too short but we will be back. Thanks for sharing your lovely place!
We rented both cabins (pine and cyrpess) for our family thanksgiving vacation. It was perfet, great location for day excursions to Callaway gardens, animal safari, warm springs and more. The cabins were well stocked and were very comfortable. We will certainely do this again and I highly recommend either cabin. Pat was a perfect host and our vacation could not have been any better. -thank you.
clean, well kept, private place with plenty of elbow room. great way to get away for peace and quiet. biking, canoeing on flint minutes away. we will be return travelers.
We had a restful time in this cabin and hit the peak of azalea and dogwood blossom season. Trips to Callaway and Warm Springs were enjoyable. Loved the view and the "log cabin" furnishings, especially the deck furniture. Couldn't believe the number of trains that run through this area....brought us back to a different lifestyle for a few days.
I recommend this lovely cabin for anyone seeking a quiet and picturesque respite from city life and the routine of work. It is very close to Warm Springs and yet away from any hint of tourism. The cabin was very clean. It was well stocked with everything from good books, to pots and pans, dishes, coffee pot, plenty of nice silverware, soap, shampoo, linens, flashlight, binoculars, blankets, outdoor chairs on all decks, and a comfortable bed. The price was very reasonable. Close to another bigger cabin owned by same owner so it would be good for a family get together. I appreciate the care and attention given by the owner and the housekeeper which combined to make this one of our most memorable and pleasant getaways.
