Our Vacation Home is privately owned and we personally manage the property. Our vacation home was our family home for many years prior to moving to a historic farm just a few miles away. We look forward to hosting family, friends and visitors at our vacation home.
Bill Borre purchased this house in 1992
We hope that if you have not visited Leelanau, you'll bring some friends and family and find out why Leelanau was voted the 'Most Beautiful Place in America' by the viewers of Good Morning America and was recently voted as one of the best places in North America to watch a sunset. If you have been here before, welcome back.
A quiet, countryside family home on ten acres that provides easy access to the numerous attractions of Leelanau County.
This property was an amazing place for our New Years Eve weekend. The house is well maintained and you feel right at home, but without any of that family drama, lol. We cook a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owner, Bill, was super nice, easy going, and very responsive to the few questions we had. Very easy check in and check out. We will be here next year if we can all make it.
Beautiful home! This was perfect for our annual trip! We will be back!
Great house with plenty of space. The outside was beautiful and allowed us to just hang out. Easy access to get to places but still out of the way. Only draw back was only 1 TV which made it interesting in juggling which football games we were going to watch.
We are return renters and the property was clean, tidy and just as we remembered it. Great location for wine tasting in the area and for relaxing on the deck.
We had a very relaxing family vacation in this beautiful home. The Leelanau house was well-equipped for our family of 8+2 grandchildren :-) The kitchen was perfect for cooking three square meals a day and sleeping quarters and bathrooms were well furnished, clean and attractive. This home is centrally located, facilitating visits the various places of interest such as the lighthouse in Northport, Sandy bear dunes, south west, Traverse City, Southeast and beaches on both sides - all within a 30 minute drive time. Thanks to Bill and Jill for such a lovely stay in Michigan. We will definitely want to return to this home!
This was a great choice for our mini summer reunion. There was plenty of room for for our group and the location was central to all the places we wanted to visit. This home is clean and comfortable and sits in a quiet area of the Penninsula.
