Lake Leelanau House Rental Photos and Description

House, 5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

A spacious Leelanau countryside home on ten private acres that is close to beaches, wineries, casinos and The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore; this hillside retreat offers a nice quiet setting and is close to the many attractions of Leelanau Peninsula.

Our vacation home is privately owned and we personally manage the property.

The home features an open layout with five bedrooms (two King, three with two twins each) three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room for up to 10 people to be comfortable.

High speed wireless internet, a 42" LCD HD TV with satellite, DVD player and DVD library, board games, books, foosball and an elliptical trainer can keep you busy indoors.

Outside the home features two decks and a patio to enjoy outdoor living and a picnic table, chairs, Weber Grill and outdoor fire pit to compliment these spaces.

The home sits on ten private, countryside acres surrounded by orchards, fields and the Leelanau Conservancy Narrows property that provides a peaceful view and great sunsets right out the front picture windows.

The location is very convenient to the many attractions of Leelanau County. Located just north of the Village of Lake Leelanau, providing close access to a public boat launch, beaches, wineries, dining, shopping and adventures. Suttons Bay, Leland and Northport are just a short drive and Traverse City is a 25 minute drive to the south.

Great retreat in the Lake Leelanau area

  • 5 of 5

Great house with plenty of space. The outside was beautiful and allowed us to just hang out. Easy access to get to places but still out of the way. Only draw back was only 1 TV which made it interesting in juggling which football games we were going to watch.

The property was great as always

  • 5 of 5

We are return renters and the property was clean, tidy and just as we remembered it. Great location for wine tasting in the area and for relaxing on the deck.

Relaxing, Refreshing and Memorable

  • 5 of 5

We had a very relaxing family vacation in this beautiful home. The Leelanau house was well-equipped for our family of 8+2 grandchildren :-) The kitchen was perfect for cooking three square meals a day and sleeping quarters and bathrooms were well furnished, clean and attractive. This home is centrally located, facilitating visits the various places of interest such as the lighthouse in Northport, Sandy bear dunes, south west, Traverse City, Southeast and beaches on both sides - all within a 30 minute drive time. Thanks to Bill and Jill for such a lovely stay in Michigan. We will definitely want to return to this home!

This was a great choice for our mini summer reunion. There was plenty of room for for our group and the location was central to all the places we wanted to visit. This home is clean and comfortable and sits in a quiet area of the Penninsula.

Perfect home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

This home provided the perfect place for our family to gather while we explored the beautiful Lake Leelanau area! The house was exceptionally clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. We especially appreciated the open living, dining, and kitchen area, with lots of windows taking in the scenic country surroundings. The 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths served our group of 8 quite well. The attached 2 car garage provided ample parking for our fleet of bicycles as well as our cars. We will definitely chose this home if we visit the area again.
