We hope that if you have not visited Leelanau, you'll bring some friends and family and find out why Leelanau was voted the 'Most Beautiful Place in America' by the viewers of Good Morning America and was recently voted as one of the best places in North America to watch a sunset. If you have been here before, welcome back.
A quiet, countryside family home on ten acres that provides easy access to the numerous attractions of Leelanau County.
We had a very relaxing family vacation in this beautiful home. The Leelanau house was well-equipped for our family of 8+2 grandchildren :-) The kitchen was perfect for cooking three square meals a day and sleeping quarters and bathrooms were well furnished, clean and attractive. This home is centrally located, facilitating visits the various places of interest such as the lighthouse in Northport, Sandy bear dunes, south west, Traverse City, Southeast and beaches on both sides - all within a 30 minute drive time. Thanks to Bill and Jill for such a lovely stay in Michigan. We will definitely want to return to this home!
This was a great choice for our mini summer reunion. There was plenty of room for for our group and the location was central to all the places we wanted to visit. This home is clean and comfortable and sits in a quiet area of the Penninsula.
This home provided the perfect place for our family to gather while we explored the beautiful Lake Leelanau area! The house was exceptionally clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. We especially appreciated the open living, dining, and kitchen area, with lots of windows taking in the scenic country surroundings. The 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths served our group of 8 quite well. The attached 2 car garage provided ample parking for our fleet of bicycles as well as our cars. We will definitely chose this home if we visit the area again.
We had 8 people stay in the home for 3 nights and 4 days for a wedding we were attending near by. Every one of us absolutely loved the home, property, and location! Plenty of room for all of us with some to spare. They had every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable and make us feel like we were at home. If you like biking or running, the road the house is located on was perfect for both. Beautiful golf courses near by as well. We also loved the fire pit out back which we made good use of. Overall, I would 100% recommend this house for anyone trying to get away for a relaxing and peaceful trip. Thank you Bill & Jill Borre, we will be back one day soon!
This was our 3rd year in a row staying at this rental location... Five couples, wine tours, brewery stops, bonfire, cooked meals, card games, lots of laughs and beautiful scenery.... Can't ask for anything better
Our extended family used this exceptional home as the 'base' for our weekend winery tour. Kitchen has everything required to entertain, bedrooms are located in different areas of the home rather down one hallway. This was especially nice to guarantee quiet time when desired.
Outdoor areas add a wonderful dimension to enjoying the quiet ambiance of the great Leelanau Peninsula. Centrally located for easy access to all wineries and points of interest! We will definitely stay here for future gatherings!
