About Tiff

I was born and raised in a smaller town about an hour north of Portland, fishing, picking blueberries, & mowing lawns. I attended the University of Maine as an undergraduate and have watched the city of Portland grow into the fantastic area it is now. My roots will always be in Maine as I'm also affiliated with the local radio station Hot 104.7. I stay connected to the Portland area often, frequent the up & coming restaurants and am intimately familiar with the area (and surrounding areas), so if you need help planning your trip or recommendations while you’re there, just let me know!

Tiff purchased this condo in 2015

Why Tiff chose Portland

This condo is exactly what I wanted. The building and unit are very unique with the original structures. The unit is in immaculate condition, & the amazing water/harbor/city views combined w/ the outdoor space can't be beat. 340 Fore St is the perfect location, next to my favorite restaurants & activities, and it gives you the ability to walk to practically everywhere you would want. You can rent a car but it isn't necessary & Uber is available in Portland anyway.

What makes this condo unique

Literally steps from Fore St & Central Provisions, two nationally ranked & recognized restaurants.

Excellent! 4.6/5 -

average rating of 4.631579 based on 19 reviews

Modern, beautiful haven in the heart of the Old Port.

  • 4 of 5

Terrific location, lovely place. Lots of natural light with views of the water in one direction and Fore Street on the other. One minor criticism: lack of any amenities whatsoever (bar of soap - coffee) for folks like me arriving after many hours of travel. That said, I would book again without hesitation.

Great place!

Can't beat it! Great spot, great views, and everything you need in the apt. We had a family of 4 and had plenty of room (sofa sleepers were really comfortable). Would highly recommend breakfast from Standard Bakery or Rosemont Bakery, and lunch or dinner at Flatbread. Be sure to stop by George Anderson's art gallery on the corner - he's incredibly friendly and has some great paintings & prints! We would stay at this place again in a heartbeat (even with all those stairs)!

Downtown Portland Maine Gem

  • 5 of 5

The location of this apartment could not have been better. Close to everything; the water, restaurants, shopping, breweries, which all provide the local flavor in Portland. The apartment is clean, nicely laid out, with views of the city on the main floor, and a wonderful view of the bay from the top floor (bedroom).

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and we will work to plan a return for sure. The only warning I would offer is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor, and requires climbing quite a few stairs. For us, this enhanced the charm of the location, and the views after the climb were more than worth the workout.

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would definitely do so. The listing is exactly as advertised, and the owner was very attentive and helpful. Take the time to visit this wonderful location!!

Perfect location, beautiful views, Comfortable and clean unit!

The location was perfect - we were able to walk everywhere! The views from the upper deck were awesome - we sat out there in the afternoon and AM with our coffee. The unit was very nice - living room, kitchen, upstairs bedroom! Would definitely rent again.

Great location! Close to everything in Old Port.

October 4 through 6, 2016

The location of this apartment was perfect. We walked everywhere. One block off Commercial, where so much of the activity happens. Restaurants, coffee shops, tour companies, breweries/distilleries, and so many different kinds of shops. And that's only Commercial. Fore Street, Exchange, Silver, Pearl, just to name a few of the closest streets, also had just as many places. So many more too. It's hard trying to decide where to go. Thanks for providing so much information and material right there in the apartment too. It was helpful.

We did a land and sea tour, great info, lovely scenery (we were about two weeks too early for the fall colors, but there was a little), took the ferry to Peaks Island where we rented a golf cart to explore a gorgeous island with fantastic views of the ocean. We walked miles everyday, just looking around. We ate at the Porthole for twin lobster lunch (5 stars), The Lobster Co (great lobster roll), Andy's Old Port Pub (best clam chowder and blueberry pie ever), Elevation Burger (after we had already eaten so much seafood), Gilbert's Chowder House (not our favorite), Duck Fat (delicious fries, as they advertise, and awesome panini), and of course, Holy Donut (gotta go there!).

The apartment was almost perfect. It had everything we needed. Great view of the port from the rooftop deck. Lots of room to spread out. Nice kitchen and living area. The only drawback are the steps. We were told in advance, there were no secrets. But I'll tell you there are 47 steps (some steep) to get to the apartment. And another set to get to the upstairs bedroom. But we tried to look at it as a way to burn off some of the calories we were consuming from the delicious, delightful seafood.

The food in that town is amazing!!!!!

Tiff was great to work with. We arrived early by train, and she arranged for us to drop off our luggage so we could walk around without lugging it everywhere. The place was clean and neat, and had everything we needed. If you can do steps, this place is perfect!!!

Perfect Portland Apartment!

  • 5 of 5

This is a great apartment! Tiff was great with contact info, welcome packet, and delivery of keys. The apartment is in a perfect location, and is exactly as portrayed. It's clean, well supplied, and just a relaxing place to enjoy at the end of a Portland day. Didn't always enjoy climbing the stairs, especially with luggage, but I guess the daily exercise was good for all of us! Tiff's recommendations are excellent, and we've added Solo Italiano and MJ Wine Bar( especially Sunday night jazz) for her consideration. Thank you Tiff for opening your wonderful home and sharing lovely Portland with us!

Perfectly located in the charming "Old Port" area of Portland, my vacation rental is located at the top of a historical building, with views of the harbor, marina, water, & the city. The "Old Port" has everything: the best restaurants in the city, bars & nightlife, & easy walking distance to all activities. Eat at 5 star restaurants (Fore St, Central Provisions) or grab the quintessential lobster roll at Maine Lobster Company. Shop along the piers and among the cobblestone streets, walk along the waterfront and through the Eastern Promenade, taking in the best views in Portland, & pick up local veggies at the farmer's market. Try your skills paddleboarding or sailing, & then grab a homemade ice cream cone (I recommend black raspberry).
