Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We arrived at night, in a crazy wind/rain storm and had alot of difficulty finding the cottage as the front porch light wasn't left on. We then went to use the hot tub and there was no back light (that we could find). This made unlocking and starting up the hot tub difficult in the storm.
The furnace is also INCREDIBLY loud. Neither one of use slept because it is right beside both of the rooms and will wake you up every single time it starts up.
With that said it is an adorable cottage in a great location. A few blocks from the beach and town. The hot tub is great as well. I would stay again IF the furnace was replaced.
We enjoyed our stay in this quaint cottage close to everything.
Great location. Peaceful and serene. 3 blocks to town or beach. Drive way was narrow. Great for a couple maybe 2 kids, but too small for any more than that. I loved the hot tub.I would go back again.
Very old, very cool house. Keep in mind the property was built in 1935.
Main draw for this property is the great location. Short walk to the beach, and also very close to good food, coffee, and shopping. It definitely is cozy - it felt cramped with 2 adults and 2 small children. But if you're doing it right, you'll be spending most of your time outside anyway. It is a rustic cottage, so set your expectations accordingly - cleanliness was OK, furnishings were OK. Hot tub is a nice bonus.
Customer service was good and the listing was accurate.
