Another great stay at Meadow Cottage! This is our second stay at the cottage and it keeps getting better. This time we explored Shelter Island; cocktails at Sunset Beach Cafe, Gold at Montauk Downs & Sag Harbor, Dinner & Fireworks at Harvest in Montauk, runs and bikes to the beach, Channing Daughters & Wolfer Estates Vineyards, along with Grilling and relaxing out back. Thank you for a great 5-day stay. Look forward to coming back soon.

Wonderful! Exactly as described :)

  • 5 of 5

Cottage was VERY clean, updated and well-stocked! Peaceful patio even though just off Montauk hwy ( which is just a 2 lane road-- name is misleading to out of towners).

King size bed and AC were great. Small refrig was nice.

Small umbrella & 2 small beach chairs came in handy but chairs are low to the ground -- may want to bring your just own :)

We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful, Cozy Cottage -- A Definite Gem!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at Meadow Cottage. The cottage was very well-arranged, incredibly clean and organized, and contained everything we needed for the perfect weekend in Bridgehampton. Naimy was warm, helpful, and attentive -- but not in an overbearing way. She was very responsive to all of our questions before and during our arrival, and provided us with everything we needed. The cottage is private and conveniently located close to town. Definitely recommend a stay here -- it's very difficult to find a place of this quality on a summer weekend in the Hamptons. Rush to reserve before it books up!

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was perfect. The cottage is immaculate and bright. The drive to the horse show was under 5 minutes even with traffic. Hoping to stay again next summer. Naimy was very accommodating and her email response times with questions was extremely fast. Had a wonderful time.

Lovely Meadow Cottage

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I stayed at Meadow Cottage in August.

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find the cottage modern, yet very cozy; practical, yet beautifully done, from the comfortable king-size bed, to the superior water pressure in the shower. As an added bonus, the TV had our favorite channel TCM, so we were able to watch old movies without commercials.

We also watched a couple of movies that we brought from home , on the TV's DVD player. It was very easy to use. The TV remote was inside the drawer with instructions.

The property is so lovely and peaceful, even though it is directly off the main drag of Rte. 27.

We saw deer on the property every day of our stay. One morning whilst sitting on the bed, gazing out of the large sliding doors, I spied a mother deer ,with her huge brown eyes, staring right into my brown eyes from beyond the fence!

Naimy was the perfect hostess, available yet invisible. When we arrived, knowing there were torrential rains predicted for the next day, Naimy pointed us in the direction of Mecox beach. Even though it was $25.00 to get in, we were so happy we spent 3 hours there to relax after the hectic morning. When the predictions for rain came true, we were so happy we went.

The next day, we took a quick drive to Sag Harbor and braved the rain.

It was a quaint town with historic homes, and lots of interesting shops, and places to eat. A trip to the whaling museum was a nice spot to dry off, and look at artifacts from the past.

The beaches weren't too crowded (we went during the week), the waves were huge and the sand very soft. We also drove up to Montauk, and by accident came across a beautiful free beach--a nice bonus.

The only downside was the distance to walk with our bags from the car to the cottage , a cart on wheels would have come in handy.

We hope to return again.

Charming and Cozy Getaway Near Bridgehampton Town

  • 5 of 5

Naimy was such a pleasure to deal with throughout the process and promptly answered any questions we had in the months leading up to our stay. The cottage itself is very charming and cozy, a perfect little couple's retreat with plenty of privacy at the far end of their property. Location was perfect as we were able to walk into town each day. Most taxis will charge you $5 p/p from the train or bus stop in Bridgehampton. We would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a nice quiet and simple weekend getaway in the Hamptons.
