Best experience ever!!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very clean and cozy, with an amazing view. Clark and Laura were so kind and helpful, and i'm so glad that my family and I got to experience a wonderful trip like this. Will definitely be coming here again, and I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in going on a trip to the UP.

Fishing Camp

  • 5 of 5

An old-timey style fishing camp that our family was looking for. Our family of 8 needed somewhere rural and rustic to enjoy the Sugar Island experience. It met our needs totally. Clark and Laura were perfect hosts who were always looking to help and accommodate.

Family and Friends...

  • 5 of 5

Thanks Clark and Laura,

My family and I from Wisconsin spent the long weekend on Sugar Island with our friend Marc's family from Sault Saint Marie. We looked at motels and other options before contacting Clark and Laura and just felt they were our best option for space and cost. Turns out we found a great place for boating, Kayaking, and hanging out for a few days. Not much else on the Island, but Clark went out of his way to see to it we had everything we needed. My only regret is that we did not stay long enough to try out the fishing this trip.

I guess we will have to come back and bring our fishing poles.

Hope to see you again in the fall!

Great Weekend Getaway with the Boys & Wife!

  • 5 of 5

Great long weekend trip with the boys. Definitely meet and exceeding our expectations, very clean, great family environment. Perfect for a day of fishing or relaxing with a book.

Cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Pack your bags and bring your groceries and your all set for a good time. Campfire in the fire pit is a great way to end the day. Laura and Clark were friendly and very outgoing - ask and you shall receive!

Can't wait to comeback next summer.

Could not ask for more!

This cabin was perfect for a group of guys' fishing weekend. The cabin was very clean, stocked with anything you need and Clark and Laura are the best hosts you could hope for! They treated us like family and everyone around treated us the same! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful cabin with surreal views for a more than reasonable rate! This cabin was perfect for our group! Thanks again Clark and Laura!
