Very nice clean cabin

  • 4 of 5

It is a very nice clean cabin but for us with 2 younger children it was a little too far away from everything. No TV in the living room was an inconvenience.

But overall it's a nice place to go if you don't have to entertain kids and you just want to relax.

Absolutely loved it!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved it! My fiancé and I went and stayed for three nights and had a great time. It is in a great location. We wanted to stay somewhere somewhat secluded but within driving distance to all of the places we wanted to go. We went to Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and many other places. We went to a great country restaurant Laura's Rock house maybe?? I can't remember the exact name. It is directly across the street from the Linville General Store. The directions they gave us took us straight to the house without any difficulty. Everyone in the area were all very nice. The inside of the house is cute as can be. You can tell they have worked hard and is newly remodeled. It was especially clean and cozy. We had all the linens we needed supplied to us. I especially loved the porch. We stayed on the porch more than inside the house. We even used the grill, sat outside and made a fire at the fire pit. It was peaceful and exactly what we needed! They even gave us restaurant ideas and told us the closet grocery store. Which isn't too far and had great views on the way there. They definitely made sure we were taken care of. We definitely will be going back!

Quiet retreat perfect for family time

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the cottage this weekend! It was just the right size for our 3 person family. We loved the privacy of the cottage, and the firepit was a huge plus. We built a fire and roasted marshmallows both nights and enjoyed telling stories in the peaceful setting. It is off the beaten path but close enough to things so it isn't a problem. We spent one day in Tweetsie Railroad, about an hour away, and the drive was beautiful. The other day we spent exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will definitely be back!

Great cabin for a secluded mountain getaway. Rustic on the outside but very clean and modern inside. Big porch to sit and enjoy nature!! We were very comfortable and would definitely rent again.
