|Minimum Stay||3 - 4 nights|
Enter through the front door to our great room, and look through the window-filled sun room directly out onto a spectacular view of Follins Pond. Three bedrooms and two full baths offer plenty of room to relax. Grill out, or sip a drink at the end of the day on our 40' x 12' deck, and relax as you watch the kids play in the huge back yard.
Don't forget to bring all of your water toys! Enjoy the warm water on our very own beach, or launch any of your bigger water toys: kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards. Or bring your own boat, and tie it off right there (a public boat ramp is just minutes away). Excellent kayaking, canoeing, and fishing, as well as direct access to Nantucket Sound via Bass River, all right from the house.
Cable, WIFI internet, washer/dryer, window AC units
A family from the Chicago area that has decided that Cape Cod is the place we want to be! We've been coming out to visit family for over 15 years, spending time up near Gloucester as well as on the Cape. We finally decided to take the plunge and find a place to call our own. We're delighted with our home, and hope you are too!
The Troyers - Greg, Patrice, and Jack purchased this house in 2014
The location right on Follins Pond is ideal for kayaking and paddle boarding, and the views and sounds are totally relaxing. And when we finally get that boat, we'll have direct access to the Nantucket Sound via Bass River - or we can cruise to any of the great restaurants right on the river! And because we're located mid-Cape, we're just a short drive from anywhere! You can get to the beaches on the north or south within minutes, and you're never far away from fine dining either. And we're just off of US-6, so the drive to Boston is almost entirely expressway, so if you need/want to get into the city, it's pretty easy.
Beautiful location with a fabulous back yard leading down to the private beach on Follins Pond. Very private, quiet and relaxing with excellent access to all cape points.
All that we could have hoped for.
We had a lovely and comfortable stay!!! Hope to do it again soon.
We enjoyed our weeklong stay at the Troyer's residence in Yarmouth. All descriptions of the home and grounds were complete and accurate. We arrived to a clean and well-maintained home. The owners provided a "Helpful Hints" listing about the house, grounds, surrounding area and Cape Cod in general which was terrific. We hope to stay at their residence again in the future, and we have already recommended this property to family and friends. We had a great vacation!
Located on a dead end street and backing up to a pond,this property suited our needs in multiple capacities. Very quiet, with wonderful ocean breezes. Slept very well as a result! Master bedroom, although small, was more than adequate, with an ensuite bath and mini-subway tiled shower stall. The rear bedroom was voted the best by all for size, and offered a full size bed. This worked well for my Massachusetts friend that came to stay with us for the four nights we were there. This room shares a bath (also remodeled) with the front bedroom (on the opposing side of the front door from the master) which has two single beds. There is an additional queen-size pull-out on the addition on the back of the house, which we did not utilize, but looks more appealing in person than the photos on the website. The living/dining room we used only for meals, but I imagine to be a inviting place for a winter-time trip, with the fireplace and bookshelves. We literally cooked all of our meals here. Having lived in MA for 14 years, and having my "local" friend join us, we are all leery of the "tourist trap" dining establishments on the Cape. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed, including lobster pot and crackers/picks, I will admit that my friend did bring some major cookware (heavy duty frying/sauté pan etc.) for planned menus. We would have been short dinner plates and silverware had we had full capacity of beds utilized. Otherwise, we were all impressed by the pretty wine and other Cape-themed glassware. Nice coffee maker, and blender good enough for frozen drinks, (although we didn't use the blender). The deck was loaded with great chairs and loungers, but the previous tenants or the cleaning staff had not thought to flip them, so we had some cleaning to do, as the trees above had dropped something on them. Also not wise in case of rain. The grill was clean and had plenty of propane. My husband did notice that the propane tank valve was not shut off when he went to use it. Grill worked well, and our steaks were delicious! We rented a double-kayak from a local source, and were easily able to launch it from the property. We took turns circumventing the pond; very beautiful and peaceful. In addition, we took in P-town, a whale watch, and West Dennis beach in the limited number if days we were there. All in all, we would definitely recommend this rental.
loved it,very clean and well decorated, great view from deck and lots of room for kids to run around!!! cool breeze at night enjoyed deck and great room!!! would definitely stay again!! close to to Hyannis and shopping and route 28 with more shopping and lots to do!! only 1 hour from p-town and whale whatching were we saw many whales up close!!!!lots of great eating places and seafood is delicious!!!!!!!!!
This home was in the perfect setting. Whether you just wanted to relax or go to a fun activity, there was plenty to do. There are tons of bookstores, shops, beaches and many other things to see while you are there. When we got there, the home was incredibly clean and beautiful. Though, you are going to want to sit outside on the deck all day! We would love to turn this home into a yearly getaway. We all felt so comfortable and relaxed. Looking forward to staying here again next year!
We're located mid-cape, in the center of everything! We're a short drive to fine restaurant on either shore of the Cape. We're just 4.5 miles from the sandy beaches to the north and 5 miles to the ocean beaches to the south! We're 16 minutes to the ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, 25 miles to the Cape Cod National Seashore, and 42 miles to whale watching out of Provincetown. And we're just a couple of very long "drivers" away from 6 golf courses...
