Three bedrooms and two full baths offer plenty of room to relax. Grill out, or sip a drink at the end of the day on our 40' x 12' deck, and relax as you watch the kids play in the huge back yard.

Don't forget to bring all of your water toys! Enjoy the warm water on our very own beach, or launch any of your bigger water toys: kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards. Or bring your own boat, and tie it off right there (a public boat ramp is just minutes away). Excellent kayaking, canoeing, and fishing, as well as direct access to Nantucket Sound via Bass River, all right from the house.

And don't forget your bicycles. The Cape Cod Rail Trail extension is currently under construction, and when completed later this year, will run within 1 mile of our house. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a continuous ribbon of asphalt that runs over 22 miles to the east, all the way to the Cape Code Seashore National Park in Eastham!

About The Troyers - Greg, Patrice, and Jack

A family from the Chicago area that has decided that Cape Cod is the place we want to be! We've been coming out to visit family for over 15 years, spending time up near Gloucester as well as on the Cape. We finally decided to take the plunge and find a place to call our own. We're delighted with our home, and hope you are too!

The Troyers - Greg, Patrice, and Jack purchased this house in 2014

Why The Troyers - Greg, Patrice, and Jack chose Yarmouth Port

The location right on Follins Pond is ideal for kayaking and paddle boarding, and the views and sounds are totally relaxing. And when we finally get that boat, we'll have direct access to the Nantucket Sound via Bass River - or we can cruise to any of the great restaurants right on the river! And because we're located mid-Cape, we're just a short drive from anywhere! You can get to the beaches on the north or south within minutes, and you're never far away from fine dining either. And we're just off of US-6, so the drive to Boston is almost entirely expressway, so if you need/want to get into the city, it's pretty easy.

We had great time with a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old in this beautiful vacation house. Would love to come back again.

Beautiful setting on Cape Cod.

  • 5 of 5

We were very happy with our stay on Follins Pond. Greg Troyer was was extremely helpful and thorough. The view is lovely. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed using them right off the beach. The diving platform was great. The house had everything we needed. The location was great---very quiet and peaceful.

Thanks again.

Owner's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed your week at our place. Follin's Pond is an excellent place to kayak, especially in the evenings as the colors change. And you're right, our location on the dead end street gives it the perfect quiet setting that we love. We'd love to have you back again on your next trip to the Cape!

Wonderful house, peaceful location.

  • 5 of 5

A great place, not to be missed. We had a wonderful stay and found everything in great shape. The washer and dryer were new and worked great, their location in the basement wasn't ideal but very easy to overlook considering the great beauty and privacy of this fantastic house. Loved the semi-private beach. Loved the big lawn. Really loved the outdoor shower.

Owner's Response: We're glad you enjoyed your stay! We take pride in our house, and I hope it shows. Yes, the washer and dryer are both new, but I guess we're used to them being in the basement, just like our previous homes. We love our beach, and the big back yard is great for playing frisbee, CanJam, bocce ball, whiffle ball, bags, or just tossing the football around (all provided)! And we absolutely LOVE our NEW outdoor shower - you were the very FIRST renters to use it!

Beautiful piece of cape Cod

  • 5 of 5

As soon as I walked through the front door and you could see the water and the beautiful back deck, I knew it was the perfect choice for our family vacation. We spent many morning afternoons and evenings enjoying the deck and views. The house was exactly as advertised and even better in person. We absolutely loved it and our 5 days was not long enough. I highly commend this home and the owners, The Troyers, to anyone thinking of vacationing at the Cape.

Owner's Response: I'm thrilled you enjoyed our home - that deck and view is exactly why we fell in love with the place initially! I'm glad you found our place up to your standards. And since you feel your five days weren't enough, we both know what the solution to that problem is! Thank you for your recommendation and review, and we'd love to host your next Cape Cod vacation.

Beautiful home next to the lake, great mid cape location

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at this property. Loved the property, particularly the backyard leading all the way to the lake. Spent a lot of time out on the deck. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to explore different parts of Cape Cod as a first time visitor. Greg was a great host.. gave us all the right instructions for the property and some great tips on what to do around. He was also always reachable via texts and was super quick to respond.

Owner's Response: Raj You enjoyed what we also enjoy about the place - that giant 12' x 40' deck overlooking the expanse of back yard grass. Pretty easy to relax on those lounge chairs, isn't it? As for location, you're right about that too! We're right in the center of everything - 45 min from the bridges & 45 min to P-town (in good traffic😉), and 15 min to either the Bay beaches or the ocean beaches. I'm glad you could join us on such short notice, and l look forward to you returning for a longer stay in the future!

Beautiful and peaceful stay

  • 5 of 5

What can I say, I adored this home. It was conveniently located where shops were just a short drive away. The home itself is perfect. The right amount of space for a family. The kitchen had all the necessities you needed to make a meal. The docorations were so pretty with the beach decor. I also loved the extra touch the Troyers left by creating a binder with welcoming information as well as things to do around the Cape. The outdoor space was just as spectacular. What a nice, big deck. So much seating space and a great grill. There was even a sweet little poodle puppy from the neighborhood that would stop by to say hello and be on his way after a few friendly minutes of petting. My children fell in love with him. The neighbors were so pleasant and welcoming as well. The inlet beach/pond was so sweet. Great place for puctures. Did i mention it was my wedding weekend? My husband and I recommend this home wholeheartedly. The Troyers were always a text or phone call away if we needed anything. We will definitely return many times over.

Owner's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed our place as much as we do. We've worked hard to make all of our guests' stays relaxing and stress free. As your host, I'm ALWAYS available via phone or text to answer any questions or address any concerns that you might have. Of course the neighbor's dog Tobee always trots around to say hi to our guests sometime during their stay. And I hope you return to celebrate your anniversary next year, and many more years in the future!

Nearest Motorway
4 Miles
Minutes from Exit #8 on US-6. (Mile marker 74.4)

We're located mid-cape, in the center of everything! We're a short drive to fine restaurant on either shore of the Cape. We're just 4.5 miles from the sandy beaches to the north and 5 miles to the ocean beaches to the south! We're 16 minutes to the ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, 25 miles to the Cape Cod National Seashore, and 42 miles to whale watching out of Provincetown. And we're just a couple of very long "drivers" away from 6 golf courses...
