The home has beautiful light and is bright and open. It offers an inviting living space complimented by vaulted ceilings over sized windows and sliding glass doors. A perfect environment for socializing and gathering with friends and family. The décor is a mix of contemporary along with accents of country farmhouse furnishings. Muted greys, blues and whites are found throughout the home. Citarella (the gourmet supermarket), King Cullen (the big standard supermarket), or Starbucks are each about five minutes drive without ever having to get on Montauk Highway (a road that gets very busy and slow during peak summer periods). Ten minutes from the most pristine beaches on the East Coast. Quaint shops, great dining, farm stands, tennis courts are all at your doorstep.

The centrally air conditioned home features an open concept with the kitchen opening up to the living room and dining area. The kitchen could not be better equipped for cooking and entertaining. There is an over sized farm table with seating for 8 . Each of the generously sized bedrooms has comfy beds with brand new linens including comforters with 100% high thread count cotton duvet covers and over flowing with pillows.

Master bedroom has a queen size bed and en suite bath

Mini Master Bedroom has queen size bed and private ensuite bath and there is a bunk room with four twin bunk beds and shared bathroom. The bathrooms are supplied with brand new towels and beach & pool towels.

Step out of the sliding back doors onto a deck which overlooks the pool. The sun filled backyard of the home looks onto a private 50 acre reserve where you will find running, biking and hiking trails just through the back gate. The deck is well equipped with teak dining table + sofa area seating and pool lounge chairs. Of course the gas BBQ too. A perfect setting to sip on a glass of wine after a day at the beach.

Dead mice in the pool, wild turkey feces, and ants galore - Oh My!

Renters can expect to share the outdoor amenities with 25-pound wild turkeys and vermin. Specifically, fist-sized piles of turkey excrement will greet you on the pool deck DAILY, an appetizer to the dead mice floating in the pool. The only thing more vile than these daily findings is how the owners will respond to your concerns. Curt instructions to clean up the feces and vermin yourself are quickly followed by indifference and disdain. If you prefer your getaway free of daily feces and dead rodent disposal, you're likely better off looking elsewhere.

The good:

⁃ location is great, close to food and grocery

⁃ stocked with basics (linens, toiletries, cooking supplies, some toys for kids)

The bad:

⁃ smaller than expected - 2 bedrooms downstairs and only 1 upstairs

⁃ Basement is semi- finished but couldn't leave kids down there alone.

⁃ Ant problem (which they did come to put traps) but was recurring through the week and seems like a common occurrence from the cleaning staff

⁃ Although rules in homes are expected, Renter beware any deviation from the very specific instructions, that were posted throughout the home posing as wall art, could result in extra charges (i.e. Change in pool temp, AC gets left on)

Overall, we've been frequenting the Hamptons for summer and winter rentals for years. This was our first truly negative experience with completely uncooperative owners. All houses can have something negative, but an owner's willingness to remedy the situation always makes the difference.

Owner's Response: In the past 8 years of managing vacation rentals properties in NYC and Hamptons, I have received well over 100+ reviews of which 95% are five stars and the remainder four star reviews. This is the ONLY review posted with less than 4 stars. From before arrival this group had special requests, some of which we accommodated, and some which we could not. I go above and beyond to provide quality home rental experience to guests at fair market pricing. Our properties do not provide full time custodial staff, maid service or gardeners – which possibly is what these guests may have expected. This home is a brand new, well equipped and maintained home that has served every guest to their full satisfaction.

Total bliss

Our stay at Lisa's property was hands down one of the best I have had through HomeAway! We had a relaxing weekend with swimming and bbq and a lot of r&r. Would recommend it for small groups looking to have a nice relaxing weekend with friends or families that want the convenience of the Hamptons in a beautiful area. House is pristine and modern too!

Better than Expected!

We rented the house for Presidents week to visit friends and family that live in the area. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The home was true to the photos and better than expected. Everything was brand new from the furnishings to the coffee maker to the bathrooms. The owner was very responsive and organized (and so is the house!). I felt as if I had walked into a Martha Stewart Real Simple Magazine photo shoot! Over the years, we have rented many homes in the area and this was by far our best experience. The location was convenient for us to visit friends and family nearby in Sag Harbor and East Hampton. Thanks Lisa for a great stay and hopefully we will be back later this year when we can take full advantage of the pool and beach.

Beautiful home - we had a wonderful stay!

Lisa was very accommodating before arrival as well as during my stay at her home. The home itself is stunning, super clean!, modern but still warm + cozy... and super close to shops, restaurants & pretty much anything you would want to do in the area! Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful fireplace, everything we wanted! Would definitely come back and stay at this home :)

We had a wonderful time, the house was impaccebly renovated and very nicely decorated. Lisa was so helpful and provided everything we needed not only from pure logistic stand point but she had great advices on what to do in the area with our 2 little girls. We all loved our stay and will certainly rent this house again.

The rental charges are fully refundable minus a $1,000.00 administrative fee for cancellations up to 90 days prior to the beginning of the rental period. Cancellations made between 90 days and up to 30 days prior to arrival will forfeit their entire deposit. Cancellations less than 30 days prior will forfeit total rental amount paid. Damage Deposits are fully refundable if no damage is found upon departure.
Operator also has the right to cancel anytime prior to arrival with a $500.00 fee to be paid to guest. Cancellation would only be for catastrophic reasons beyond our control which would make the apartment un-inhabitable for any reason.
We do not negotiate on this policy. Travel insurance is strongly suggested and you are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover any potential losses due to unforeseen cancellations. You can purchase travel insurance when you make a deposit through homeaway.
