Why Tina McCabe chose North Vancouver
Looking up to the mountains and not far from the ocean, is our executive home featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in North Vancouver. The main floor is an open floorplan with large granite island, separate dining room, tv above fireplace, office/bedroom (single bed), hardwood floors, marble and limestone bathroom with a steam shower and outdoor dining on the large deck off the kitchen. Weber BBQ available. The upper level has the master bedroom(king bed) with private deck, master bath, two more bedrooms(double beds in each) and another bathroom. We have a large backyard with plenty of sun and some shade. Short walk/drive to numerous cites . Our two bedroom ground level separate suite is occupied with its own separate entrance. We are "centrally" located and a very short distance to shopping, the mountains, oceans, and to downtown Vancouver. There is so much to do in such close proximity: walks, mountain or canyon hikes, seawall walk in West Vancouver or around Stanley Park, sailing, kayaking, bike riding, golf, Whistler, fine retail shopping or fine dining (as well as numerous great pubs and family restaurants). We are located just a 7 minute walk to Edgemont Village- a quaint mountain-like village featuring all the amenities including butcher, baker, bank, grocery store, salons, Starbucks, coffee shops and retail. We look up to the mountains and are also a 7 min walk away from Capilano Canyon a great place for long hikes. A 5 minute drive will land you at the gondola at Grouse Mountain where you can ski, skate, snowshoe, or go for long hikes to the top of other mountains in the summer. We are also a 5-7 minute drive from the ocean and beaches including a 4 mile seawall walk. There are numerous oceans in and around Vancouver including those in Stanley Park (also a 10 min drive away). It is a short drive (12 minutes) to the beautiful city of Vancouver featuring fine retail, dining, and great sights.

Beautiful clean house and gorgeous views.
Spacious well maintained home with a great outdoor deck that the kitchen window opens up to (just like the picture). And the owner was very nice and helpful with recommendations of things to do.
Beautiful home in North Vancouver
This was a beautifully decorated, spacious home for our family vacation. We had 7 in our group with 4 children and there was plenty of room for all of us. The home was in a great location in North Vancouver with easy access to many sites in North Van and to thoroughfares into Vancouver (Stanley Park was 10 minutes away). Our family especially enjoyed the open eating bar every morning for breakfast. Tina was fantastic to work with and has thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this property.
Absolutely stunning home, so spacious and comfortable for our whole family
We're an active family of 5 looking to enjoy everything Vancouver had to offer. Staying at this beautiful home made our trip just perfect. Very close to Grouse Mountain and Capilano it made it so easy to get around and explore. We enjoyed the great restaurants in the area and although Vancouver's bridges known for heavy traffic we seemed to have no trouble getting downtown everyday. The special finishing touches and incredible decor stands out the most in this home. It is so tastefully decorated by the owner who checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying in this home away from home.
Plenty of Room
Great house, lots of room for everyone. Home is located in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk to the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything you could think of. The owner was easy to work with and answered questions promptly.
BC Family visit
We enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable, great location.
Suggestions: no coffeemaker
Concern: unfortunately Tina McCabe is poor with communication not only during the booking process but after check out i wanted to verify (due to the $2,000.00 security deposit) that the home was left, in excellent condition as we found it.
Thank you so very kindly for your stay and for leaving our home in excellent condition.
As a homeowner, I am very thankful to all those who have stayed at my home and I pride myself in delivering a premium experience for all my guests. During late July/early August I was not as prompt in my communication as I usually am as I was out of province dealing with a family loss. I would like future guests to please know that I provide guests with my cell number and encourage them to contact me directly with any questions whatsoever. Last year, I invested in and have available a French Coffee Press for those to enjoy the quality of coffee it makes. I also now have a coffee maker with filters if some guests prefer same. I am looking very forward to hosting more guests from all over the world and am so appreciative to all those who have stayed and have left our home in the same excellent condition as they found it. I trust you will have a great and memorable stay in Vancouver and at Ruby,
Tina's home is absolutely lovely, with plenty of space to spread out, and enjoy! The space was very clean, and while there were a couple minor issues, Tina took care of them immediately! She was available and responsive while we were there, happy to help in any way she could.
The location is perfect, within walking distance to a couple parks, which was great for our grandkids, and early morning walks. It's only a few blocks away from picking up some scrumptious bakery treats in the morning, or a yummy sandwich during the day. Additionally, we found a couple nice small restaurants that we could walk to as well, for an evening meal. The location is also great for the many day trips we took, seeing the sights of Vancouver. We spent eight beautiful days in North Vancouver, and had plenty to see and do.
At the end of each day, it was a piece of heaven to return to Tina's home, where we could sit on the deck, relax, and enjoy the absolutely magnificent surroundings!
I would highly recommend Tina's accommodations, and hope to return one day to visit again!
