Beach Club Villa 48
Robert Henri once said, Why do we love the sea? It is because it has some potent power to make us think things we like to think. A family vacation at Beach Club Villa 48 has a similar power as the Sea. Your family will generate lifelong memories while vacationing at this wonderful beach house thinking of things you like to think.
This property is ideally located as the Isle of Palms bends back to the south west. This bend has generated one of the best areas to enjoy on the beach anywhere on the Island. Rolling dunes and sea oats populate the area between your home and the sea. At low tide your children’s imagination will run free as tidal pools form that expose many of the wonders of the ocean. Sand dollars, small fish, blue crabs and starfish can often be found in these pools reminding us how special the ocean gifts can be on the Isle of Palms. As the tide roles in, an off shore sand bar makes the wave riding perfect for families. Where the sea will make you think things that you like to think, it is just a bit more thoughtful at Beach Club Villa 48.
You will think that beauty of the Island is not limited to the beach when you arrive at Beach Club 48. The homeowners of this wonderful property have put together the ideal location for your family’s vacation. Recently renovated, this home will pleasantly surprise as you enter to find a large and open floor plan. Several walls have been removed from the original design of Beach Club to create openness that is highlighted with an expanded kitchen featuring granite surfaces stainless steel appliances and a wet bar to maximize your enjoyment. Your family will probably choose to dine outside on the screen porch most meals where you can enjoy dinner with the southwest breeze bringing the refreshing smells of the salt air and the beauty of the setting sun.

We stayed 3 weeks during the summertime at this beachfront villa. We really enjoyed our stay and thought the villa was of very high standard. Beautiful location on beachfront. A short walk away through the dunes and you are on the beach. At night you can hear the sound of the waves crashing, very relaxing. The garden has a communal pool shared between a few of the villas (never was crowded during our stay). This pool was well maintained and our kids spent a fair bit of time out there. The house is very well appointed and it is clear that the owners are keeping the property to a high standard: wooden floors, great kitchen with stainless steel appliance, nice and neutral decoration, nice furnishings and bed linens. The house was in perfect condition (2 bathrooms would benefit from a small comestic update. One -on top floor- was recently refurbished) and very clean. The only thing missing would be a few beach chair and an umbrella to take to the beach. The house sits within the Wild Dune resort, an upscale resort. It is a very quiet, family oriented resort. Also the resort is gated with security at the entrance (and the local police dept. also patrols it). The rental manager (Beachside Vacations) was very easy to deal with and very responsive (great website, we found the description and pictures of the property on their website to match the real thing). In brief a great property and we very much enjoyed staying there! Highly recommended!!
We recently enjoyed a nice fall vacation staying at 27 Beach Club Villa. The home's oceanfront location made it the perfect area for long beach walks, watching the ocean, and listening to the waves crash at night while sleeping!
The interior of the home is very well appointed. It's obvious the owners spent time and money on the interior of the home. Hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, and large flat screen TVs were just a few of the very noticeable upgrades to this home. We especially enjoyed spending evenings on the screened in porch listening to the ocean!
The pools located within each cluster of townhomes is very enjoyable! It's almost liking having your own personal pool! Water was still very nice late into October.
The short walk to the ocean and its wide open beaches was perfect. We enjoyed a late day walk every evening in order to take in the sunset!
Throw in the close proximity to Charleston (less than 30 mins) and all the amenities that Wild Dunes has to offer, we'd definitely recommend 27 BCV and hope to return there ourselves!
Beautiful place, beautifully decorated. The beach is wonderful - quiet and very relaxing. I would visit again and again. The listing photos were very well done. Everything, inside and out, was clean and well kept. I would recommend this beach place to anyone. Charleston has so much to offer that it is hard to pick any particular ones.
I was looking forward to staying at a relaxing spot near the beach and this place met every expectation. It had plenty of space for both family activities and quiet time. It was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. I especially loved the porch on which I could read, reflect and listen to the ocean. The pool was an added luxury! The location is great, with plenty of restuarants, shopping and activties close by. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a great time at the beach.
