Located in a quiet area of the fishing village of Cassis: 600m from the village, harbor, and main beach; 400m from the Bestouan beach.

5th and last floor of quiet residence with elevator. Exceptional views of the sea and Cap Canaille, the highest maritime cliff in Europe, as well as the Cassis peninsula toward the Calanques National Park. Ample view of the Cap Canaille and its colors changing throughout the day, the sea and Calanques. Lots of sunlight all day and very beautiful sunsets.

Completely renovated fully equipped kitchen, sleeping and entertainment amenities. Private bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink.

Entertainment: large flat screen television with international TV channels, home cinema and high speed wireless Internet.

Parking behind the building. The residence is calm but close to the village and other points of interest such as beaches, vineyards, Cap Canaille and Calanques. This is a great place to explore on foot and by boat.

A lovely Provençal market is held every Wednesday and Friday morning in the town center, in front of City Hall. “Marché paysan” on Saturdays.

Need a fantastic get-away***This is the place in Cassis

I had the lovely opportunity to visit Cassis in September 2011 for the 1st time. Luckily, I stayed in this magnificent apartment. The view is absolutely breath taking. The local farmers market, florist, grocery store, restaurants and wharf in walking distance.

The apartment itself is immaculately clean, great cooking facilities, including dish washer, washing machine, ironing board and hair dryer! I really enjoyed having a glass of wine and dinner on the balcony. In the evenings watching the beautiful sunset against the calanques was my favorite.

I highly recommend staying here and would definitely return and stay longer than a week!

Comfortable in Cassis

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks and found it to be very comfortable, modern and ideally located to the ports. The kitchen is suitably stocked with dishes, flatware, and tools. The bedroom is fairly spacious and has a large closet for luggage and clothes. Our stay was during July and even though there is no air conditioning, being on the 5th floor (there is elevator access) ensures a nice breeze through open windows and/or doors. The view from the balcony is stupendous but the balcony is small - comfortable for two. There is a clothes washer but no dryer; the apartment does have a communal laundry line outside on the property, though. A vehicle is preferable as the grocery store is not close and the climb is steep! Parking is limited and difficult during the summer. We found parking on the streets surrounding the building. The ports/beaches are a 10 minute walk downhill and slightly longer for the return (uphill!). This apartment is better suited to two guests rather than three or four, even though there is a pull-out sofa.

The apartment building lobby appears to have no lighting after dark making it unsafe and difficult to navigate through to reach the elevator, however.

Fantastic sea view and good apartment

This apartment is well situated for staying in Cassis. It is walking distance to Cassis Marina and to a couple of local beaches. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything you need. We stayed in July and found the apartment hot as it does not have air conditioning but there is a fan which made the apartment bearable. The walk down to the beach was a very steep hill but it was not a problem to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again.

Our fantastis 11 days at Cassis

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here and would return. Great well equipped kitchen.

Good parking at the rear, no extra cost. Walk to the beach and village center.

It was central enough that we could drive to LA Coitat in 15 min. where there is another great beach. Aix en Provence is only 40 min away and a fantastic place to shop, eat and enjoy.

We took a day trip to Arms to see the old Roman coliseum and also saw St Remey de Provence plus the old Roman, Baux en Provence.

A clean and well appointed unit. Loved the whole French experience.

Lovely little quiet apartment with beautiful views

My husband and I had a week here at the beginning of August 2014. We came to love the quiet of the location and sitting on the small balcony late in the day to see the fantastic views. It definitely had everything we needed and a great kitchen for cooking. It is only small and although suitable for a couple I felt would be too small if you had anyone sleeping in the lounge area. The balcony is also only tiny and really only enough room for 2 people. However given that August is the busiest month at Cassis we really appreciated being away from the main harbour and we also had wonderful afternoon breezes which you wouldn't have got downtown. A note also that the shower is a little awkward as you have to step up into it and would be difficult for anyone not fit or of a bigger build. All in all a great stay and we would be happy to recommend to others. There is parking at the back of the building but its at a premium in August and we had to do a bit of car shuffling a number of times to get a park as soon as someone moved. Be prepared to walk in Cassis and although its not far you do have an uphill walk from the beach and the restaurants back to the apartment.

An ideal apartment

We very much enjoyed staying here, the apartment is very comfortable and the view of the sunset magnificent. Walking up the hill to the apartment justifies all the baquettes and wine. It is very convenient for walking the calanques. The apartment building looks quite run down from the outside but the apartment itself is very comfortable, clean and well managed. Cassis is a vibrant little town with much to see and do. We had a meal at villa Madie restaurant which was expensive but superb. Would certainly return here if we are again in cassis. Also having parking is a great benefit in cassis.
