The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
The owners, Rob and Gwen were very welcoming and very much on top of any needs we had. The house was big enough to accommodate our large group with places to spend time together and time apart in groups. Very good location and afforded easy walks every morning on the beach.
We are heading back for our third year in a row! This place is great for big families and you don't feel like your on top of everyone. Great views from the roof, great kitchen and always clean! Also, they have a great ice machine to keep all your beverages cold!
We have had several family vacations in NMB and have stayed at different rental houses each time. This was our favorite one so far and would stay here again. There were 22 of us (17 adults, 5 children). The entire house and outside area were clean when we checked in. The bedrooms are large and the large common areas on each floor gave everyone plenty of space. All appliances and fixtures worked well the entire week. We enjoyed everything available at the house: pool, indoor spa pool, the many TV's, DVD players, air hockey, pool table, pinball, corn hole, basketball court, bicycles, beach accessories, and the deck roof. The beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys were extremely helpful to have since several people came by plane. We were a little concerned about the pool when we first arrived because it is small, has a maximum depth of about 3 feet, and is on the main street side of the house. Well, there is not much traffic so you forget about the street quickly. The low depth and size actually allowed the children to enjoy the pool even more. Since the pool is in the sun most of the day, something to provide shade would be helpful. We so happened to have a beach tent with us and set it up in the pool area. You will need to keep tending to wet spots on the first floor since you need to go through it to get between the outside shower and the pool and between the shower or pool and 1st Floor bathroom. But without a doubt the pluses far outweigh the minuses.
Rob and Gwen are gracious hosts. They meet you at check-in to make sure everything is OK and to explain how some features of the house work. They came by a couple times to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. And a special thanks to Rob for taking the children and their parents out on his boat.
Great location. Great pool. Great gameroom. Great decks. Tons of bathrooms. GRET for the 21 people we had. Huge icemaker & extra fridge a major plus. Rooftop views amazing.
My family and I were looking for a place to have our 5 year family re-union with kids and grandchildren that would accomodate all of us. There are 24 altogether. This was a special year as my husband passed away 1 year ago unexpectedly. He and I had talked about where we were going to go and decided we would go to Myrtle Beach. The more I thought about the more I know I had to follow thru with this vacation.
After seeing this property on line I sent all the info to everyone and everyone agreed it was perfect. This property was perfect and after arriving and seeing it in person, everyone was ecstatic!! Everyone had their on space, enough room to get away and be alone or enjoy all the amenities the house had to offer, from the corn hole game on one of the decks to the game room on the second floor or the beautiful view on the top deck. The beach is right across the street. Plenty of beach chairs to take care of everyone. All the little ones had plenty of buckets and shovels to build sandcastles. Bogey boards to surf the fun waves. The pool was fantastic after being at the beach and the indoor swim spa was really appreciated by all. The commercial ice maker was a big hit with everyone. Having so many people, we made most of our meals at the house. Fantastic kitchen, beautiful grill. The owner's are wonderful people. Took the guys fishing and took the ladies and little ones shelling. Always there to help if you need it. Thank you for a wonderful vacation in your beautiful house. We have lots of wonderful memories. I would go back to this property, it was perfect!!!!!!!!!
Rob and Gwen, thank you! The house was everything and more for our occasion. It was just perfect and you two we're such great owners and made us feel right at home.
We loved how you could find privacy, and then go down to the next floor and be in the middle of all the fun. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which I know was appreciated. There was no noise from the room next door or from the floor above you. Slept like a baby every night.
The amenities were enjoyed and I think one of us officially beat the pin ball high score. So, get busy Rob.
