HEAVEN AWAITS YOU!
Where do we begin? This was our 5th time staying at this wonderful, charming home, and our second stay this summer! As we drive in, the Welcome sign invites us to a quiet getaway to refresh and reconnect with family. Opening the door, everything shouts of cleanliness and well kept belongings! A look out the windows (which face the lake in all rooms) bring you to a slight slope of rolling green grass and gardens and then a beautiful lake setting that looks like it was hand-carved by God! There is nothing lacking....from the inside with a completely well stocked kitchen to the games and videos...to the outside with the dock, kayaks, paddle boat, campfire and other toys! It is so peaceful and accommodates your every mood....whether that is just relaxing in the peace and quiet with a book or nature, or to have a great time in the water! We feel so "at home" when we come here! On our last weekend we had rain most of the time, but it did not stop us from having a wonderful time! Mary & Ross have made this so inviting we continue to come back and have already made our reservation for 2018! Thanks to both of you for creating a "home away from home" for us!!! Everything is perfect and you truly are the very best!
Well, Mike and Sue, you truely do encourage us to keep up the good work. Coming up with a few new things to encourage our return guests make it fun and inspiring. We have so enjoyed our friendship that develops over time with your return visits. Thank you for all you are!
You have a beautiful family!
A wonderful winter weekend getaway!
What a beautiful home! Enjoyed an adult winter weekend getaway. Cute town. Loved dinner at the Pine Tree Supper Club. Did some ice fishing on the lake.
Looking forward to returning with the family in the summer months! :)
Thanks so much Nelson's!
We are so glad you had a great time! AND we would love for you to come and enjoy our flower beds, the beauty of the lake, and some kayaking! You were wonderful guests!
There were two families, two 6 year olds and a 4 year old. Plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. Lots of toys and games inside as well. We rarely saw anyone else out on the lake.
So glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for the picture. Come back again, we'd love to have you.
Had an amazing family vacation
The property was beautiful and well maintained. Very spacious for our 7 family members. Came fully equipped, all we had to do was bring food. The kids loved the paddle board, building sand castles, playing board games, and of course swimming. The adults loved the kayaks, fishing off the pier, and sitting around the bonfire while taking in the beautiful view of the lake. There is little cell reception and wifi was touch and go so it was a great way to bond as a family. We will be back--the Nelson's made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. They gave us complete privacy and we forgot several times they were staying below us. Highly recommend this place to families looking to get away! The lake is small and peaceful and just a beautiful sight whether you're inside or outside--the water is visible from both. Can't say enough good things about our experience.
Wow....thank you for being so kind. Though we are delighted your family had a wonderful time. It was our pleasure serving you.
I can't actually think of ANYTHING negative to say! :):):)
Believe all the reviews and all the photos of this wonderful home! We had such a fantastic time. The home is perfect. We will absolutely 100% return!
Thank you so much for acknowledging the great time you had here. We loved having you and we do hope you come back again. It was a great week and I hope you all got exactly what you wanted out of the week. Vacations are important for our whole beings!
Until next time,
A wonderful family vacation spot
Everything is so well maintained and beautiful. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities we could have asked for. We spent most of our time down at the beach enjoying the water toys, fishing and playing yard games. In the evening we cooked out on the deck on their very nice gas grill. If we needed anything, downtown Tomahawk was just a short drive away. Mary and Ross are extremely accommodating and helpful. This was the perfect place to relax and spend quality time with the family. Our only regret was not staying longer. We hope to be back next summer.
Dear Vincent Family,
It was definately our pleasure serving your family. We are so glad you made use of all our outside games, the kayaks, paddleboat, and the fishing. We are also glad for your time around the fire---something special happens when we just sit and relax. Also thanks for leaving the home in such great shape. Our grandchildren used the left over worms!! Have a great year, hope to be able to serve you again.
