“Fore Island Fun” brings together the best of what Wild Dunes Resort has to offer in a beautiful setting. Location is everything during your vacation to the Island, and Fairway Dunes is in a perfect location, close to the beach, adjacent to the golf course and steps away from tennis courts and swimming center. “Fore Island Fun” offers three decks and a screen porch. Just off the living and dining area, you will find a screen porch and deck. These overlook the sixth and seventh holes of the World famous Links Golf Course. It is very entertaining to enjoy this area as the sun goes down framing a beautiful picture of greens and fairways as golfers try to conquer these difficult golf holes. The master bedroom deck offers equally wonderful views of these same holes. The front guest bedroom also has a deck, but the view from this advantage point is the swimming and tennis complex of Fairway Dunes.
Beach access is easy from “Fore Island Fun”, and less than a ten minute walk. Once you arrive at the beach, your family will find that you have chosen to stay in one of the extremely desirable locations on the Isle of Palms as the beach bends back to the south west. This bend has generated one of the best areas to enjoy on the beach anywhere on the Island. Rolling dunes and sea oats populate the area. At low tide your children’s imagination will run free as tidal pools form that expose many of the wonders of the ocean. Sand dollars, small fish, blue crabs and starfish can often be found in these pools, reminding us how special the ocean gifts can be on the Isle of Palms. As the tide roles in, an off shore sand bar makes the wave riding perfect for families. Finding seashells is just one of the many items your family will discover during their vacation at “Fore Island Fun” in Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms.
The interior of “Fore Island Fun” offers many new features. One of the most striking is the upgrades to the kitchen and dining area. Granite countertops, custom cabinetry and new appliances make the kitchen so friendly for the evening meals at home, lunch between the pool time & beach time, and that early breakfast after watching the sunrise over the Atlantic. Fairway Dunes features a sitting area and living area. The living area has a wonderful large flat panel television. The bedding is also ideal in this great home. The upper level guest bedroom and master bedroom each feature a King Bed and the mid-level guest bedroom has a queen bed. Every bedroom has a private full bath.
Where the beach is always a place of wonder, it is just a bit more wonderful at “Fore Island Fun”.

Enjoyed our stay. The updates downstairs make the villa feel very large. The kitchen is well equipped. We had everything we needed. The bathrooms are a little shabby and there isn't any HDTV, but it's a great location and the pool is well maintained. The decks & screened in porch are very nice but the outside chairs need some cushions. The view of the golf course is wonderful.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this condo. There were 6 of us and there was more than enough space. The kitchen was well stocked and roomy. Beds were comfortable, and we loved the sitting areas from the decks to the screened in porch. The walk to the beach was about 10mins from the condo. Pool and tennis courts are directly across from the condo which made it convenient. We also appreciated the electronic keypad to get into the condo--with 6 of us there was no need to carry keys around. We would definitely stay there again!
We enjoyed staying at this property. It was updated and very comfortable. Our family enjoyed sitting on the screen porch, relaxing and watching golfers. We walked to the beach everyday, very convenient location!
This villa is updated, open and ideal for families. The back view from the living room is beautiful, and we enjoyed watching golfers and even the greens keepers come through the course daily. It is steps away from a small pond/bridge with alligators and turtles, which our kids enjoyed watching! In front of the villa is the community pool which was a 2 min walk and convenient. The kitchen is well equipped, we made most of our dinners at the villa and never had any trouble with the prep and cooking. The rooms were all updated with great linens, decor, flatscreen TVs, and furniture. The AC actually stopped working, but within 2 hours, it was up and running again thanks to the property managers. The water pressure was amazing and strong, which was also a plus (being sticky from the beach). The only think we would of changed, is adding bar stools at the kitchen island. We plan on returning next year!
