The picture was exactly what we got. Great location, great view! We were there to enjoy the beach and we definitely did that. We didn't feel the beach was that busy when we were there. The room was nice although just a couple of things bothered us. A very noisy fan in the bathroom really needs looked at. Also, the bed could use a new mattress. We were really used to our sponge type mattress and this one was a bit hard. But overall, this was a great location. The Publix is just down the street. We ate in the room a lot. There is no regular oven. There is a pizza oven and an electric stove top. For the price we paid, I felt like we got a good deal. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I would stay there again.
The room was beautiful would stay again in a minute and would recommend this property to everyone thanks for a great time
I recently stayed at this location on treasure island. The room was perfect! The views were amazing and the location was great for walking to dinner or breakfast. The beach is so close to the room! I had a blast on this trip and loved the room! I would go back and stay there any day.
I just recently stayed at Island Inn 607. It was perfect. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Amazing views and close to everything. We had a great girl trip. Thank for everything.
After a long trip you open the door of your rented apartment, switch on the light and your first view is onto the curtains/blinds of the room. You see loose curtains, missing blinds and loose rails! For me the condition of the curtains/blinds are the "business card" of a room/apartment. If they look ok, the rest of the room is mostly also ok and shows it's well maintained. But not here!
Trying to open the curtains/blinds I had first to untangle the cables and fasten them to the wall. Trying to open the closet. Both doors didn't fit into the rails. So no movement of the doors. Only 3 hangar inside the closet! Inside are boards installed which make it impossible to hang trousers and long clothes free hanging into it. Trying to store our valuables and passports into the safe was impossible regarding low batteries of the safe.
After getting up the next day I found a broken leg of the bed. Taking a shower was difficult regarding a loose knob of the faucet; couldn't change the water temperature from cold to warm. Fixed it by myself. Dishes were not well cleaned. The coffee mugs still brown inside.
Inspecting the rest of the apartment. One of the beech chairs broken! The smoke detector was suspicious to me. No green operating light, no red blinking light. J. from the rental service team told me later it's connected to the power, has a backup battery and should work. (Rem: We had to switch apartments after 15 nights regarding a longer stay and there the smoke detector had a green light and was blinking red every minute, showing he is alive). For cleaning the room we found a broom but no dustpan.
After day 3 we had an ant attack! Inside the cabinets and our food everywhere ants. Throwing all open food away. Pest control sprayed the room and it got better.
Twice we had to call the service team from the apartment complex. We got locked out from our apartment regarding low batteries inside our door locking system. Not so funny at night!
And all time long painters around the apartment complex painting the building. No privacy at all!
An apologize from the rental company? Forget about that!!
Conclusion: We didn't get what we paid for.
