Chateau / Country House, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8)
About Martha Hartsfield
Pete and Martha enjoy the mountain areas and enjoy having family gatherings in their mountain home. With 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, our home has provided lots of educational and fun activities over the years.
Martha Hartsfield purchased this Chateau / Country House in 1999
Why Martha Hartsfield chose Rabun Gap
This area is beautiful and has something for everyone--shopping, golfing, hiking, water rafting and many more! It is centrally located so that you can visit Dollywood driving through the Smoky Mountains or visit Ashville and get back the same day. We've been staying in and enjoying the area since 1970. We picked out the lot, and we actually built the home ourselves with the help of family and friends.

Tranquil and Beautiful
What a perfect weekend with gorgeous weather and spectacular views. The house is wonderfully spacious, and perfectly setup. Will def be back!!
Feels Like Home in a Beautiful Setting.
Our family has stayed in Sunset Ridge several times. The layout is perfect with bedrooms downstairs and two on the main level. The breeze and the views are awesome in the true sense of the word. I love that the kitchen is so well-stocked and the hydrangeas are incredible.
Spacious, quiet clean home with a great view
This house has plenty of space for a party of 8. Home is clean and well-furnished. Living area is spacious. Lots of TVs. Kitchen is spacious too and adequate for all needs. Bottom level and top-level porches. Great view of the MOUNTAINS. House is not too far from hiking, fishing, waterfalls, dining, rafting and cultural venues like Firefox. Home feels like it's in the woods away from all neighbors. Oh, and the landlord is nice!
Thank you so much for your great review! Happy you enjoyed our home and hope you’ll come again soon.
