Excellent Stay and Awesome Property
Just returned home from this beautiful Tahoe property. My family and parents had a great time staying here. From booking to arrival, the communications is seamless and Irma (owner) is a joy to work with.
Everything in the house is exactly as pictured. Love the contemporary style and the modern amenities it provided. Very spacious and newer property in South Lake Tahoe and the neighborhood is very quiet. Very close drive to lake, casinos and surrounding attractions.
Would plan on coming back next time when our family get together again. Thank you again Irma for the wonderful experience.

Comfortable and well located!
The South Lake Tahoe cabin provided us with the perfect stay. Located 20 minutes away from Sierra Ski Resort where we boarded the two days we were up there and 10 minutes from the downtown area with shops and restaurants. The cabin itself has a very spacious living area that flows right into the kitchen. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable with plenty of towels and supplies for a comfortable stay. Three car garage was a bonus allowing us to keep our vehicles out of the elements. The cabin provided sleds so you do not have to bring your own. The only minor hiccup was that the WIFI dropped a few times during our stay. We texted Irma and she swiftly fixed the problem. I strongly recommend this cabin to others and would book it again for our next Tahoe adventure.
The best lodging ever
This a great house to spend vacation. The home is very convenient and well equipped. I would say this is by far the best home in South Lake Tahoe.
Lovely home with Awesome backyard
We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The house was much larger than we thought, which was great since we each got a little more room. The backyard was a dream come true for the kids in our party, and the parents all loved it because it was all fenced in. Irma was easy to work with and sweet over the phone. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

To watch out for:
There is no snow service on the road or the driveway. We left chains on our minivan to drive around. One of our cars (a 4x4 suv) got stuck in the gutter at the end of the driveway and had to call for a tow. House wifi is fine, but have to re-log in every 10 minutes or so.
House was not cleaned prior to our arrival (cleaners weren't scheduled). It was too late for the cleaners to come that night (Monday), thus we bought products to clean the bathrooms, wipe down kitchen and sweep floors. Maintenance guy did come in to drop off fresh towels, extra toilet paper and changed all the bed linens that evening.
Owner scheduled cleaners to come the next morning (Tuesday) and we had to vacate the house 9-11a. When someone in our party returned to the house at noon, the house has not been cleaned. Supposedly the cleaners couldn't make it due to weather and no one bothered to inform us. We called the owner to complain and she said we can either vacate the rental and get our money back, or we have to once again leave next morning (Wednesday) for 2 hours for the cleaners.
Owner credited us 1 night for our troubles. We thought it was insufficient because we had to spend our vacation time cleaning bathrooms and leave the house 2 days in a row for the cleaners. Some of us had work conference calls scheduled in the mornings and there were a couple of little kids we needed to get ready to leave the house by 9a. When I contacted the owner to get additional compensation, she said we had accepted the 1 night because we did not vacate the house for a full refund on Tuesday night. (We would have vacated, but there wasn't another rental we can go to. It was Presidents Day week.)
As customers/renters, we feel like we got the short end of the stick. We lost valuable time and were upset for a good chunk of our hard earned vacation. 3 of the 5 days of our rental was negatively impacted by the cleaning issue. All the owner lost was 1 night of rental. If it weren't for this issue, we would've given this house a 4-star review.
To future renters, I have owned this home for two years and have gained much hosting credibility in a short period of time. I have received 5 stars on all three sites I advertise this beautiful, cozy five bedroom, so centrally located home. Please read all my reviews. With the sole exception of this mischaracterized review, I never received one negative review out of some fifteen to twenty per site.
My home does receive plow service for my driveway, but the epic snowfall from this historical snowstorm backlogged the service. Had I been informed I would have called them to plow immediately. Similarly, cleaning for my home was extremely difficult to receive due to one of the worst storms Lake Tahoe has ever experienced in fifteen years. Although, I did everything in my power to assure these guest’s happiness, comfort and safety , the maids got stuck in the snow. The management company owner that I employ went to my home in a four wheel drive to explain the situation and one guest named Shannon, whom I had never spoke with before, answered and stated to the manager that next day cleaning would be fine. When Ron and Kathy found out the house had not been cleaned for the second day they were angry, even though one of their party agreed to next day cleaning. Ron, the responsible party, started to request compensation. I normally would credit the cleaning fee. I felt so bad about them arriving to a partially cleaned home I gave them 25% discount for four nights, equaling one night free. I had a technician come to the home the night of their arrival and change sheets on all five beds, leave ample towels for three families (I granted a 15th person free), and he took all trash and left a lot of toiletries. They said the tech was very professional and accommodating. Eventually, after the storm subsided, the home was professionally cleaned. I never have guest complaints due to the great management team I hire and my quick responsiveness.
Ron called again to complain and I offered to fully refund all monies if they vacated on the second day due to the weather preventing maid service or I would compensate with a free night off equally a 25% discount. Ron said he would not vacate, and that his family was presently skiing and having a wonderful time. He promised to not write a negative review and said he understood, but said he could not afford this vacation and demanded more compensation. Up till now, all my prior guests have been ethical working professionals.
