Modern oceanview 1-bedroom in the heart of Condado. Fully equipped and furnished. High-speed internet, cable TV, washer & dryer and a new AC. It comes with 1 parking spot. Ashford Avenue is the heart of Condado. You can walk everywhere for restaurants, entertainment, dancing. Just 4 miles from San Juan airport. The building has direct access to the beach, therefore going to the beach takes less time than it takes to put on your swimsuit. The building is literally about 100 feet from the water. The building has 24-hour security, tennis court, electric generator, gym and large swimming pool.
My name is Emilio. I actually live in a different apartment within the same building. Therefore, I will be around in case there is a need for anything. I have lived in that building for over 10 years and I actually do not see myself living anywhere else. I am sure you will like it too.
This building is perfectly situated in the heart of Condado, so the location is perfect. It also has all the amenities one could want: direct access to the beach, a large swimming pool, tennis court, a small gym and 24-hour security.
The apartment itself was recently fully renovated. It has a new kitchen with new appliances, as well as new windows and a new AC.
My wife and I stayed at this property for four nights in February 2017. The owner Emilio was great to work with prior to our arrival. We arrived late in the afternoon on Saturday February 11th and called Emilio who agreed to meet us in the lobby of the Condo. We did so and he took us up to the unit.
The corner unit is located on the 19th floor of this condo complex. There is a huge foyer which then leads to the living room/enclosed porch area? You step up into this section which contained a sofa and ottoman along with a chair all of which appeared to be new. There were sliding windows 3/4 of the way around which looked out onto the beach and ocean. The view is breathtaking and the sounds of the ocean prevail. There is no TV in that room which was a great ID as it would ruin the ambiance. We spent much of our morning and late evening there just enjoying the views and sounds.
As you step down from that room you enter the full sized kitchen which has all stainless steel appliances and a table for four. All the appliances appeared to be relatively new and the kitchen was well stocked. You then enter the bedroom/living area. There is a L-shaped sofa a queen sized bed (which I must say was very comfortable-reading earlier reviews Emilio must have taken heed as the mattress must have been new) There are sliding glass windows in the bedroom and when open along with the sitting area's windows provide an excellent breeze. There is a flat screen TV with many channels including premium ones such as HBO etc.
There is also a new decent sized washer/dryer in the unit which was great to have. The bathroom though small had recently been renovated (again the owner is taking heed to prior review's) and was fully functional. THE ENTIRE UNIT WAS SUPER CLEAN WHEN WE ARRIVED!
The owner Emilio was great and thought of everything one would need for a beach vacation including towels, beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler.
Getting back to the owner , Emilio he could not be more gracious as when we arrived he directed me to where the Supermarket was located about three blocks away and when I leaving to go there he offered to drive me and he then took me back as I had numerous groceries. He also recommended a restaurant that night Café Caribe which was on the next block and was great. Will return.
We were a family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers) and it served our end of vacation purposes very well. The pool is big and easily accessed, the beach is right outside the building, the view from the small living room area is great. Its fun to watch the beach and kite surfers from the windowed living room. The air conditioner worked well at night (you can't really leave the windows open at night for a breeze because of the unpredictable rain showers). The bathroom is ok, it works and is adequate - slightly dated and small, but it serves its purpose. The location of the building in relation to things to do and places to eat is ideal. Its only a 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk to Old San Juan. We enjoyed our stay here.
Property was nice and safe, great view with beautiful beach. The only things I could say that could be improved on was the Mattress was pretty worn out and uncomfortable and the air condition is only in bedroom. But the view made it worth it!
Emilio's apt was PERFECT for our stay. I visited PR with 2 girl friends. The location was perfect for all the things we wanted to do.

The views are absolutely breathtaking- I felt like I was on a cruise ship. The enclosed balcony/living room has Windows all around and all you see is ocean as well as some city views . It's on the 19th floor so the breeze is amazing and it literally felt like we're sitting outside even in the kitchen area. The building is very secure, enter through a gate and go past another security by the door. The elevators are clean and fast , we never had a long wait. The building is very quiet. The pool is huge, clean, and never very busy. Also walk right out on the beach from the pool(there's a gate which you'll have a key for) . We rented a car and were provided with a designated parking spot. There's a huge grocery store as well as many bars and restaurants within walking distance ,yet it never feels crazy touristy and noisy. The bed could be more comfortable, but I don't go on vacation to sleep( unless it's on the beach) .
If you're a nitpicker, maybe you could find something to pick on, the bathroom is not remodeled yet but perfectly clean and functional. There's a great washer & dryer and plenty of beach towels, bath towels and bed linen provided.
The kitchen appliances are new and function perfectly. Emilio was easily accessible the one time we had questions. He also met us in the lobby promptly and was very professional.
It sleeps 4 but I would not recommend for two couples, since the bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom. We had our two kids (8&16) and the space was great. My daughter camped out in the living room .
I will100% recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to San Juan and hope to be back soon. I'm a big research nerd and can assure you you won't find anything better for the price.
My husband and I stayed in this condo for three weeks starting the middle of January. We found it to be very well situated close to many restaurants and shops. It has a nice pool area with sun and shade options and there is direct access to the beach. We didn't use this beach as we found it to be shaded and sloped with rough surf. However, within walking distance are many other options including areas providing chairs and food (for a fee). We had a car so having a parking spot was a bonus. As well, the condo is well situated for access to highways if you want to get out of the city and explore. The booking process was very easy with only a small amount required to secure the booking and the balance due closer to our arrival. The owner is quick to respond to emails and was available for any assistance needed. Overall, we found the condo to be just a bit small for us consisting of a open concept kitchen with small sitting area and a large bedroom. The kitchen was fairly well supplied but I found it to be lacking in utensils like vegetable peeler, garlic press, that sort of item. For the time we were there we liked to eat in a lot. For a shorter stay with plans to eat out more it would be fine. The washer/dryer was great to have and use. There is also a supply of beach items like chairs, coolers and now an umbrella. I should also mention that we felt very safe in this area. Overall, a good place to stay.
Located right on Ashford Avenue and close to everything that Condado has to offer. Walk everywhere in Condado. Cars are only necessary when traveling outside Condado. Available Bus Service to Old San Juan.
