We had a large group of grown siblings and our families. Youngest were two and four. They had a wonderful time playing with all the toys provided and playing in the sand! We enjoyed golf cart rides to the pool too. The house was easy for everyone one to have their own space but still enjoy evening games or sitting in the screened in deck. It was set up well for our little ones with the toys, pack n plays for each kid and high chair. It was beautifully decorated and cosy at the same time. The upstairs room doesn't have a door so keep that in mind with you need a door. It is very private up there but I do think the sound traveled up from downstairs. Also, we were not used to beaches with the sea glass and sharper sea shells/ oster shells so pack your water shoes for everyone to be safe. The sunsets are a beautiful backdrop for a family picture! We enjoyed grilling some fresh seafood from the market too. The kayaks and paddle boards were fun too! There were life jackets (I didn't see size under 30pounds but we had brought ours with anyways but there was some youth and adult) in the garage and the spare fridge out there was a wonderful bonus for all our food even tho we did enjoy eating out a lot. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our family reunion!
My extended family and I were totally satisfied with our experience renting this property for a week in August 2016. The house is comfortably furnished, great screened back porch, immediate access to a beach area. Excellent kitchen setup with first-rate appliances, dishes/glasses, gadgets. Kayaks and waterboards in the garage! Lovely gated community. No complaints whatsoever.
Every year we rent a large home somewhere on the east coast to accommodate our large group. Having done this for a number of years now, we know when we've hit a gold mine. Paradise on the Chesapeake Bay was just that. Upon arrival, check in was easy and the house was clean. Between the kitchen supplies, beach amenities and table games in the garage, just about everything was provided. Access to the lagoon area was perfect for the small kids and the screened-in porch was an awesome place to have a drink at the end of the day. On top of that, the Welcome basket from Lemoin at Eastern Shores and the cookies from the owners was a nice touch as well. The only minor knock I have (and don't know if there is a solution) is that trash only comes on Tuesdays. We got there Sat and trash was picked up Tues but for the remainder of our stay there was no trash pickup and the rental agreement requires the tenant to empty the trash can prior to leaving. I'm not sure if any tenant wants to address that on their way out. Other than that minor nit, I'd highly recommend this place.
The Paradise on the Chesapeake Bay home is a beachfront beauty that has it all: Beach, Sunsets over the Bay, boats going in and coming out of Kings Creek Marina, and a few steps away at a fine dining waterfront restaurant and oyster bar. Situated in a village of Bay Creek Resort known as “The Colony,” the home’s West Indies style and colors are typical of the other homes in this beachfront village. A professional linen company is provided with this home.
