Loved this house! It was beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable and immaculate. The kitchen was great for eating meals in, but there were also plenty of really fun restaurants nearby. The backyard had a great pool, which was perfect for relaxing, reading and soaking up the sun. Even better was the private dock. We rented a boat and went out every day for snorkeling, swimming, and fishing. We had so much fun, we will definitely be back again. Highly recommended.
Stayed for about 45 days January- February 2017. Great house with good access to the ocean. Owner and Itrip was good to deal with. Any minor issues I had were taken care of quickly. Pool is only solar heated so can be a little on the chilly side if temps are cool and cloudy out.
One suggestion for the owner and Property Maintenance, Spend a couple of dollars and buy some LOCKING TRASH CANS!!!! Having to put bricks on the cans daily and then coming out to find a mess from the raccoons daily is a real big pain in the ass! Something that is easy to take care of. I don't know why it has been addresses already.
Thank you for a lovely stay. The home was immaculate well appointed. We enjoyed being able to walk to dinner at close by restaurant. The Rental Management Company was excellent to work with and very accommodating.
This house is absolutely beautiful! There was plenty of room for our family and friends, and tons of things to do. The bedrooms are big and the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen is gorgeous and well-equipped. We cooked some great meals for eating in, but there are also a lot of fun restaurants nearby, including some that you can visit by boat. The pool and yard were perfect for those who just wanted to relax and read and soak up the sun, but most of us went out in the boat every day for fishing, snorkeling, swimming, etc. Nothing beats having that private dock access right there in your yard. We will definitely be back again!
My husband and I stayed with friends and family. We were here for 18 nights. We were fortunate enough to have the property alone for some of them. The house is clean and looks just like the pictures. Very close to restaurants and a cab ride away from other restaurants and beautiful sunsets. The pool was great! We had a few issues but the Rental agency (Pheonix) were very fast getting back to us and getting things done. Will be back next year for a longer stay. Love this place!!!
If you are looking for a casually elegant home, with all the amenities that you really need, then this is it. Relaxing spaces and convenient location (key to your stay in the Keys) are the icings on the cake. The pool beckons as soon as you step outside. Once there the large patio overlooking the lagoon reminds you that the ocean and great snorkeling and fishing are just a short boat ride away. Highly recommended!
My husband an I stayed at this beautiful home for a wonderful 5 days. The home was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. We were able to walk to a great Dive Center - "Silent World" and participate in fabulous wreck dives. The local restaurants , especially Buzzard's Roost, were great for breakfast, lunch, lunch and dinner. We have the greatest memories and will be back to create more!
Key Largo, called "the first of the Florida Keys," because of its northernmost location along the Florida Keys chain, is an hour's drive from Miami International airport. Yet it is a world away. Home to a national marine sanctuary, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, Key Largo boasts some of the most fascinating diving/snorkeling adventures in Florida. A host of eco-tourism and dive-snorkel services are ready to help you discover the natural wonders of Key Largo. If you like to go fishing, be sure to reserve your charter boat and enjoy the sport fishing experience of a life time with the best charter captains and fishing guides in the world. You can go after sailfish offshore, bonefish along the Atlantic shallows, or redfish and tarpon in the Florida Bay. After a day of great fishing, you can visit some of the many family-owned restaurants that will serve you the day’s fresh catch or prepare your own! And don’t forget to try the key lime pie, which is a Key specialty. Islamorada is only 15 miles off Key Largo and it is home to the Theater of the Sea where you can swim with the dolphins. It is also home to the world famous Tiki Bar serving up frozen drink such as Piña Coladas, Rum Runners or my personal favorite, a Miami Vice. There are also several other local bars and restaurants, often featuring live bands to help you wind down after a day of fun in the South Florida sun. Whether sinking your feet in the sand, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, dining, shopping or sight-seeing, Key Largo and Islamorada have enough to keep any visitor in awe from beginning to end. Staying a week, a month or more? You’re always a local when you’re in Key Largo. Come visit your home away from home.
