Why Melia Indra chose Moonridge

What I love most about Eagle Peak are the views. Views are sometimes difficult to capture, but I promise you, these panoramic views are stunning! We purchased the property last year, it was completely outdated, but we saw the potential in the property location (near the national forest), views and large balconies, and layout. We brought this property up to a luxury standard.

What makes this cabin unique

Unique panoramic mountain range and ski slope views, you can even see Big Bear Lake. Easy access from the outside parking with only one step down into the house. Many other cabins have creaky steep hills that are dangerous to manoveer. Eagle Peak has a u shaped driveway.

Eating arrangements are meant to bring everyone together - enjoy the 10 person Gathering Table.

Style, Eagle Peak is geared towards the guest who wants more than "grandmother's cabin" it is rustic and woodsy, however modern and industrial...some describe it with a bit of a hipster feel.

The bathrooms are luxuriously remodeled with the finest materials, vessel sinks.

Guestbook comments from the manager

This was by far the best surprise I was able to give my parents for their birthdays last weekend. From the tastefully selected decor to THAT spectacular view, we were in straight up luxury. If you need a place that can sleep many friends and family and also want something more than the traditional cabin feel, this is your place. Eagle Peak Cabin is atop and secluded enough for privacy, but also only 10 minutes away from downtown, the convention, and all that Big Bear has to offer. We've been spoiled and can't imagine staying anywhere else when we're in town!

Absolutely loved this place. One of the best we’ve stayed at. Will have to return for sure!!!

  • 5 of 5

There were so many things we loved about this cabin! The view was just captivating! We watched the sunset every night and enjoyed our morning coffee out on the deck just listening to nature. We had 5 kids and 5 adults. The kids had the best time in the playroom playing games and building forts! Location was perfect as well. Everywhere we wanted to go was just 15-20 minutes away. Can’t wait to come back in the winter to view the snowy hills.

Stunner view, clean and comfortable

  • 4 of 5

This cabin overlooks the lake from the outside deck and at sunset it is the place to be. There were 8 of us sharing the house and it is generously sized with lots of room for us all. We had a 3 year old, 4 year old and 6 year old and it was set up to be safe. Remember to bring your own fire wood. For the price, I would have expected a nicer kitchen. Also, there was but one roll of tp per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. More please! Foil and zip lock in the kitchen, bars of soap for the shower would be helpful. We enjoyed having a big dining room table that accommodated us all.

Great location for a family trip

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely Big Bear home. It has a terrific location with views of Bear Mountain ski resort and of Big Bear Lake. The house was clean and there is plenty of rooms for a comfy stay. The kids loved all the board games and fooseball table that were available. I also appreciated how quickly the owner answered questions leading up to making the reservation.
