You will awake in the night and wonder: Why isn't there any noise? This luxurious property is tucked away on woodsy acreage. Two large living rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, each with a beautiful stone, wood burning fireplace and TV with Amazon Fire, making it easy for a group to spread out and relax. Watch out for the herd of elk that regularly snooze in the back yard of this beautiful mountain property.
This property has a large area nestled up to the Magical Forest. The huge deck off the kitchen is just right for a small gathering. Includes WIFI and satellite service for two television sets along with DVD.
Beautiful house. BUT, SMELT so bad you couldn't even sleep. It was so bad we had to put the smelly blankets outside and it still reeked. There were Rat turds and bugs everywhere.. 😒
AND one HELL of a rude property manager.😕(that is the nicest thing I can say bout her) The owner of this house needs to learn customer service skills. He should also, check up on his property before someone gets Hantavirus or sick from the dirty oven and rusted cast iron skillets. He should also repair the hanging fire alarms. Those really look up to code. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Our extended family was excited to share this log cabin near Enumclaw where we were celebrating a family reunion. Our excitement rapidly turned to disappointment and disgust though as we unwrapped bedding to find a large pile of mouse droppings. We also were surprised the downstairs bedroom came with the unmistakable stench of cat urine. The first night we also had the pleasure of welcoming an extremely disagreeable woman who barged into the house and counted everyone present. When we explained several people were visiting and not staying the night she replied that she didn't believe us. Then I suppose in an attempt to mimic Robert DeNiro from the movie "Meet the Fockers" she said, "I'll be WATCHING you!" The next morning we found mouse droppings in a kitchen cupboard and discovered the hot tub hadn't been cleaned since the Reagan Administration! When my cousin tried to speak to the property manager she was informed she was unavailable. In short, we paid a LOT of money for the privilege of staying in a dirty, mouse infested property! Take heed and don't book this property!!
I would not recommend going thru Crystal Cabin rentals to anyone. They have a very rude property mgr who pops in on you and departs with the comment "I live in the neighborhood and I'll be watching you" and then lies about the number of people we had. The cabin itself was very pretty but the sanitary conditions were deplorable. We found mouse turds in the kitchen cupboards and drawers so we had to wash all the dishes before we felt safe using them. Also mouse turds were on the backup bedding and pillows so we used our own. There were large carpenter ants thru out. A horrible stench of cat pee was downstairs and someone had written 3 months earlier about the pee smell in their guest book and nothing had been done about it. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for a different cabin.
The place was marvelous and we had a great time. Will want to rent it again if we return to the area.
This is a lovely large cabin in the woods. Liked the setting and the privacy. This home has lots of common area space for a group to spread out to which were comfortable and warm. The kitchen is great for a large group, though the dining area was a bit tight. Enough room for three cooks. Had almost all of what we needed. It was easy to find, even in the dark with the directions given. Easy access to a number of great hikes and views. We were greeted by Elk in the large yard and then again on a morning walk. The jacuzzi was one of the better home Jacuzzi's we have used with lots of jets Loved the large deck to gaze at the stars when they peaked through, or sit outside and read. Game table in the living room a nice touch. Loved the wild life/ mountain decor. Feels really homey.
Overall, a great week end and we have put it on our list of places we would return to for our book club retreat!
Really a great property in the Crystal Ranch area. Secluded lot on the edge of the development with a large cleared area attracting wildlife and birds. Seemed to be on the Elk commute route.
The home has very good space with bedrooms well spaced and two full living/entertainment areas. A massive deck to take in the great forest air and the filtered sunshine.
Good value for the price.
