About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 1¾ Baths, Sleeps 6

This lodge sits on a pristine piece of land. There are lots of areas to explore including a waterfall. There is a community trail to take leisurely hikes and enjoy the scenery.

Cabins sprinkle the area and elk wander the meadow coming right up to our door. You can sit back and relax. Enjoy our warm wooden stove, barbecue on the deck and drift off to sleep in the comfy bedrooms.

Two bathrooms and three bedrooms leave room for everyone. Fresh linens and towels are provided by us to ensure that your stay is as great as it can be.

For those who want a bit more festivity, there is much to do in Winter, visit Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, Washington State's largest and highest Peak. There are restaurants and shops there as well that we're sure will make your vacation even better.

"We really enjoyed staying in this cabin. Great location for this area. We had a great family vacation." - Mario

After returning to the lodge, you can fire up the wood stoves which puts out a lot of heat. The stove creates that woodsy lodging vibe that you hope for when planning a getaway in the woods.

In Summer, tour Mount Rainier Park at the renowned Sunrise or Paradise areas. Visit the Grove of the Patriarchs and visit all the waterfalls.

The Gondola whisks you to the top of Crystal Mountain that overlooks the entire Mount Rainier National Park. You can even get married on top of the mountain if you're feeling adventurous.

As you come up the driveway, you will feel at home. The bathrooms are modern and bright, the kitchen has newer appliances and all of the pots, pans and dishes you could want.

Sit around the table or the living room with family and friends, enjoy each others company. Peer out the giant floor to ceiling windows and you'll be staring out onto the luscious green timbers.

"We had a great time and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a comfy and relaxing place to stay." - Huan

The wood paneling all throughout the lodge gives guests that warm and cozy feeling of getting away beneath the woods and amongst the mountains.

Sink into the comfort that the Four Stone Lodge has to offer.

About Crystal Mountain Cabins

If you love to ski in the winter and be out of doors in the summer you will love our cabin for the same reasons we do. Our kids are just the age for enjoying all the ski runs at Crystal Mountain and, we must admit, we the parents do to.

Crystal is the state's largest and (we think) best ski area.

Being on the river's edge makes for fun in the summer and there is a nice path where you can stroll up and down the waters.

Quiet and clean, super enjoyable

  • 4 of 5

Great quiet location that totally matches what you see when booking online - even the elk trolling around in the neighbourhood. For a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids under 10) on a 3.5 day ski trip to Crystal Mountain - this was a comfy cabin.

Upstairs loft allows some to sleep while others remain awake downstairs - or a great place for kids to play some games away from the adults haha.

Kitchen well stocked with dishes/glassware/cooking items and is spacious enough that someone inclined to cook all weekend could do so.

Full size fridge also nice for a family of 5. Firepit outside in the backyard along with heaps of dry wood to use was quite welcoming and fun to have going at night with kids.

Gorgeous river behind the property would probably be a pleasure to walk and fish. Overall, good value here and the 20 minute or so drive to Crystal was just fine by us. Quiet and clean location made for a super enjoyable 3 days.

Excellent winter location

  • 4 of 5

Our family of five enjoyed the stay in this comfortable and cute cabin. Located next to a river, 10 minutes to a Snow park and 20 minutes to Crystal mnt resort. Everything one would expect from a vacation rental property was available. Century Link DSL for our internet needs, plenty of blankets, wood for the stove, washer/dryer etc.

We got a feeling that this property isn't used often as a vacation rental, few very minor things were not working, (thus only 4 stars) but the host was very quick to respond and we are sure these minor issues will be resolved for the next guests, I am about to compile a 'thank you' email to the host.

If you are planning to rent, please be advised that the cabin is best for a single family. There are plenty of places to sleep, but the cabin is rather small. We aren't interested in TV but if you are, there is only a small (21" or so) monitor/TV, we didn't even turn it on.

We highly recommend this as a family vacation rental, our kids and we had fun building forts and snowmen on the property, had a blast skiing and exploring the area along the river and had the pleasure to interact with friendly community. We stayed during a few snow storms, driving was a bit challenging, but that is nothing considering superb skiing conditions and fun in the snow!
